Seeing articles with quotes and tweets from the mexican game that Jonathan has decline to represent Mexico because he wants to play for us.

We better freaking call him for this friendly if allowed of course. If not better be in contact. Else might as well tell him to play for mexico. Cant let talent like this linger

Toronto would be screwed if Giovenco were to get a shock call into the Italian squad

Awesome job US Soccer and Bruce. Mexico going ape shit over J Gonzalez and we had a coach that failed to call him up. I guess we were ok because we had automatic starter Michael bradley.. oh wat

It is being reported that Liverpool will be at the game tonight to scout him. Also seen reports at least two others may join the fight for him and he could move to Europe in a 8 figure deal.

There any way to watch this game in English on TV? There is no SAP for English (from Spanish) right?

I have this gut feeling we might lose Gonzalez to Mexico. Although, I guess the only way I see him 100% opting for Mexico is if they offer him a trip to Russia next year. I wouldn't be shocked if this is the case.

This dude is USA through and through. Aggressive on the field, I could see him pushing for a move and Monterrey taking the money. Especially if a German or Spanish team put that money on the table next month it would be hard to say no. A fast recoup on investment for the club, and Gonzalez would make the next step in his career. Dortmund potentially scouting him is very interesting indeed.

Looks like both Dortmund and Leverkusen are tracking Gonzales. Won't be surprised to see him snatched up by a European team very soon.

At Dortmund who would he be competing with? Wherever he goes, I just want him to get a decent amount of playing time the first season.
