Robinson from Wigan to AC Milan, here we go! Total agreement reached for the left back 🔴⚫️ #ACMilan #transfers

From Fabrizio Romano he's been pretty good on the in and outs of Serie A transfers

I'm shocked I thought he'd keep on at Wigan and see if a team in the Prem would throw him a bone. He's young so it's not that he can't find a way into the Prem later on

Milan is a big club so good luck to him

Great opportunity for him as a defender to play in Italy. He'll get a real education in tactical defending. This is huge.

I'd love to see a few more of our young defenders get the opportunity to play there.

Love or hate MB, he was a much better player after going to Roma.

Speedy left backs are a commodity.

Now if Holmes could make a move

Pretty shocking that the rules don't allow for the medical tests to come in after the deadline.

And now this leaves Robinson is a pretty crappy spot with Wigan (crappy in the sense that he's now at a club where he doesn't want to be, not just that Wigan sucks).

He has an irregular heartbeat (that's what held up the move, ironically he wouldn't be able to play at Milan now anyway) and needs an ablation medical procedure to correct it. Feel terrible for the kid, hope all goes well and he can be healthy.

Your boy Antonee Robinson made Team of the Week in the Championship this week.
Not bad for a player not good enough for the USA GC team lol.

He won't be at Wigan long, he's consistently linked with a move away. Gregg looks really dumb picking guys like Sweat, Lovitz, and Gasper over him...

Good post. I came on here to say the same thing. I've been calling for Robinson to be the starter for a longtime.

With all the rising players in Europe, I really don't see how you could include any MLS players on the National team except Morris. I've been saying this forever.

My honest opinion is that Morris should be in the striker pool for the USMNT not a winger.

Seeing the problems at striker, I tend to agree. Him and Weah

If Gregg is going to stick with a 4-3-3 or some variation with only one striker, it makes sense to have an attacking left fullback like Robinson out there. That way the forward ahead of him, whether it's Morris, Weah, Pulisic, Reyna or Llanez- that forward will have the ability to pinch in because of Antonees winger like skill and pace going forward.

I can jump on board with this, he needs to go through a transition like Zardes did from winger to striker.
