I meant in terms of Bruce's A team, B team. Aron would be much higher in my own rankings. Higher than Agudelo/Dwyer/Morris (once Aron gets back into form I mean).

But common , this is a sick C team, fantastic play-making potential.

At this point I don't think Arena has a real clear picture of what his A, B, or C players actually are. I believe he's got a handful of players he sees as clear starters, a group of players he believes are useful, and is trying to shuffle these groups together to determine who he can play together to obtain the results needed to qualify.
Additionally there is a group of relative novices who are trying to push their way into consideration. I would not be surprised if there are 3-5 players who Arena hasn't had in a camp yet who'll eventually make the 23 going to Russia.

We can't throw terms around like a, b, c team around when evaluating players.
For example, Bruce considers Omar Gonzo higher than Miazga, but Chelsea and Vitesse don't.
Saief plays in Champs league and is 23 but Bruce doesn't rate him higher than Bedoya.
Danny Williams is C team but is our only center mid primed to start in premier league.

In your hypothetical the "C" team would be the backups of this gold cup roster, with some Euro guys possibly sprinkled in. Guys like Miazga, Hedges, Zimmerman, McCarty, Pontius, Agudelo, Lichaj, Hamid/Gonzalez/Sean John, Morrow, would likely be the starters with possible inclusions of Boyd, Hyndman, Gooch, Morales, DWill.

I think that you will begin to see a lot of these players that your calling for brought in. We had to get to a safe place for qualifying. Everyone is bashing Bruce for digressing in tactics, but it was the easiest way to get where we are in a safer situation with the players that are used to the setup and know what it takes to qualify. Saief was forced out of the Gold Cup with an injury and these other younger guys needed time with their teams as most are fighting for a spot with their first teams. Calling these players in would be reckless, bye bye to any chance some would have in a battle to start. We got to see Miazga in a game, I thought he did well. Would like to see more of him. I do believe we will see a shift in player selection and tactics if we do well in September qualifiers. I also don't believe that this Gold Cup was a reward for some players. I think it was a make or break for players like Bedoya and Zusi. I don't believe Bruce is sold on Zusi, he's just giving him enough line to either sink or swim. I'm sure it will prove him to sink, Yedlin and Chandler will be our Right backs with Cameron to cover in emergency. Fabian, Chandler, and Besler will be our Left Back option because quite frankly those are the top three. I really want you guys to name a better who has proven he can actually play there for the Nats, because I'm not sold on the last two but it is what it is.

I think we're going to see a few more chances given to Villafana, Lichaj, Morrow, and Beasley to do the job. I don't want to live in a universe where USMNT is relying on Matt Besler and Timothy Chandler as legitimate LB options outside of playing there in a pinch after a sending off or something of that nature.

I don't want it to be either but the versatility of both puts them in the positions. If it's not Besler then it's team and that's not much better
