Eintracht Frankfurt want to take LA Galaxy's U-18 wonderkid Efrain Alvarez to train in Germany. Napoli, Monterrey others interested. (twitter)

He's likely the next Pulisic and it wouldnt surprise me if he made a run at the 2022 team. Hes playing up an age group and still performing. If he has a path to a EU passport he could get some heavy hitter clubs calling for him real soon

haha, the Galaxy need him right now

That's not why I got rid of my LAG avatar pic on this site, though. I got rid of it because J. Jones is on the team, and he's dead to me. My fan status is suspended until either A) he leaves the team and I re-fan or B) LAG ownership pissed me off further and I drop the club.

So after watching some highlights on him i do not see him as the next pulisic he is a completley different player. He seems like a very good finisher though. A future Sargent - Alvarez pairing up top would be cool to see.

Alvarez says he is open to both USA and Mexico, and says that NO ONE from USA has been in contact with him.

Who else supports sending Thomas Rongen and Dave Sarachan to Guantanamo Bay for terrorist acts of soccer ineptitude?

And there he goes and scores 2 goals in today's game...so far. Sad that we, US, just don't recruit kids like these more intensely. Even sadder is that we will keep loosing kids like this one. Apparently we didn't learn form the JohGon case.

The fact that there is no contact is the worse part. Just gift them to mexico if thats the case. Dont bother. Stupid from our fed.

Yeah we should get in contact. Alvarez has never expressed interest in the US before. So that definitely should raise the blood of Ramos.

The rumor was they thought Alvarez would never be physically big enough to be a professional.

Here is a revolutionary policy change: Never reject a youth for physical size reasons. You can never predict the future.

The final stretch of the English league season is upon us, with several Americans on the verge of relegation with their teams.
