This is what I think Bruce will go with based on what we've seen lately.

GKs: Howard, Guzan, Hamid
Defenders: Villafana, Brooks, Cameron, Yedlin, Fab, Besler, Omar, Zusi
CMs: Bradley, Nagbe, Acosta, Dax
Wingers / Forwards: Jozy, Morris, Dempsey, Wood, Pulisic, Zardes, Arriola, Bedoya

The two guys that Arena clearly likes that I did not include are Ream and Beasley. Either or both could easily make the roster.

Trying to figure out the full strength lineup going forward, this I what I got

Howard

Yedlin....Brooks....Cameron....(??Villafana, maybe Chandler can find his way back into the mix)

Fabian....Pulisic.....Bradley.....Nagbe. (Nagbe and Pulisic are interchangeable)

Wood....Josh

LB is wide open and I think LW can be up for grabs but the other 9 are locked down IMO

Also really like the possibility of a 3 center back line of Omar, Brooks, Cameron or maybe Ream and throwing Cameron up to DCM, with CB being our strongest position why not use Cameron's versatility

How can you not call up Timothy Tillman after watching this! Kid is legit.... US Soccer and 99% people on this board are too scared to see a Pulisic/Tillman combo. They happy with mediocre non attacking soccer !!

Lol, at 0:55 he whiffed it horribly, why would that even be in the video. He has to be a first team player or NO DICE. No first team, no consideration for USMNT.

Will he accept? Wonder whats running through our top brass heads.

I agree, if it were to work, only the promise of starting for USMNT would work.

First team player ? Let me know when Barcelona wants to sign Bradley, Altidore, or Bedoya

Such a dumb argument. It's like saying an NFL team shouldn't draft someone if they didn't go to Alabama.

Or that the same analysis applies to signing a kid making nothing who you can stash on your youth team or loan out to a lesser team to help him develop v. signing a mid-to-late career professional who is going to cost a lot more and either is going to play for your senior team or be surplus to requirements.

Could say the same thing after watching the Kyle Scott video. Everyone has a highlight video. What is needed is a resume of quality first team matches to go along with the video.

While I think you're right that this is what Bruce will do, I'm kind of hoping that a couple of players won't be called up....
Zusi - I'm not a fan of his play, and believe that Chandler is a much better back-up at RB.
Dax - Adds nothing to the team. Would much rather see Williams given another shot.
Bedoya - His play during the GC was less than noteworthy. If he's recovered would prefer to see Saief given a chance. His injury before the GC limited his chance to integrate....would like to see what he can offer. Likely too soon, but I can hope.

Zusi v Chandler:
When our RB screws up, do you want it to be while trying, or while switched off??

The funny part is theres proof against your silly argument. You just dont want to hear it. By your logic Barca's B squad (their youth team) should steamroll opponents. In 2015 they were relegated from Segunda league down to the 3rd level of Spain. Thats right. All these 18-20 year old that Barcelona wants, finished in 22nd place in a league made up mostly of guys that will never see the first division of a real league. A bunch of 26-32 year old has beens, never were, and never will be, routinely beat some of the best 18/19 yr olds in the world.

In Portugal the dominant team (FC Porto) finished 12th in the second division. Again those are the best young Portuguese players and they cant beat journeymen. Just being young and talented doesnt mean you are the best player in the world.

Well there is a minor flaw in yours too, even tho what you raised is valid.

Every single youth player doesn't get matriculated through the system. So some of those 25, 30 year old journey men are those 18 year old Right now in those bigger clubs B teams. The better players move on from those clubs, and one could argue given the right environment, they can go on and perform better than the average player on the team made up of older washed up vets. Or if not washed up, just meh talent wise.
