This team has no balls/aggression anymore. Bunch of nice guys out there.

1) I have not been a fan of Gonzalez for years; absolutely awful from him on that goal. The best combo for both games was Cameron-Besler, yet we never saw that.
2) Once again I will say this in the strongest terms possible, Pulisic does NOT work out wide on the national team. It is FACT. And it is destructive because we have no playmaker out there in the center of the pitch and its too easy to mark Nagbe and Pulisic out of the game when they are wide.
3) Beasley is supposed to be a better LB than Fabian Johnson? gtfo Bruce.
4) Once again, I actually thought Zusi and Bradley did decent.
5) We've seen Nagbe for many months now.....and I am going to give an unpopular opinion. He doesn't do it for me. He is overrated. Once we get to Russia, Mr. laid back Nagbe is going to be a sub. I want DYNAMIC AGGRESSIVE attacking midfielders. So many options Lleget, Rowe, Arriola, Manneh, Lennon, etc etc and I can't stress enough still Feilhaber and Kliejstan.

What a low energy blah team we have become. That's our team's current identity; really calm laid back players.

I can't wait for Lletget to get healthy.. he is better than Nagbe and Fabjo in the mid. And maybe use Fabjo as permanent back.

I've been saying this same shit for the last 2 years!

Bring in the youngsters: Timothy Tillman, Wright, Sargent, Weah, Mckennie, Robinson, Toljan, Saief, Andrew Carleton

Also want to see Johannsson and D Williams

And for the love of god find out if Robert Kennedy Nunes was born in Maimi....

Dont think anyone has taken you seriously for 2 years.... Tyler adams is a full starter for the red bulls and Weston MIGHT be getting more minutes by then but Sargent doesnt even have a club dude....

Watched the game on delay.

1) I thought Besler was really solid, I think he's elevated his stock to our third best CB (or at least he should have).

2) Omar was awful in the back four. Zusi and Omar were both keeping Quito onside on the goal while Besler and Beasley held the trap. Zusi then stopped trying and Omar shat the bed, horrible from both players. That said, Omar was a completely different player once we shifted to the back three. I thought he looked really good in that position, he read the game better and bailed us out of a few predicaments. If we see Omar again, it should only be in a back three.

3) Arriola was the right substitution for this type of game. Pulisic has some luck running at them in the first half and even Beasley got in a few runs. Arriola's speed was an important ingredient and I would have brought him on sooner.

4) Pulisic needs to adjust to Concacaf. The refs and conditions are garbage and teams know that he's our most talented player. They're going to target him and a lot of the time calls are not going to go his way. He's got to get used to this, his frustration got the best of him in both of these games.

Is the Panama vs T&T game being shown anywhere? I'd rather watch that game than CR vs Mexico.

BTW I hope people we dont think this Panama at home game is going to be a walk through. Just recent that we struggled with them in Gold Cup. And even though that was not our 1st team this team isnt playing well enough to take things for granted.

Said the day they hired Bruce: gulati should have been fired first and the house cleaned. Yes Fabian Johnson is a better attacker than Nagbe. But let's not make this about Nagbe or Villafaña or any individual player. The second half of the away game to Panama told me all I needed to know about where we are headed... we had them locked down but settled for a draw instead of pushing for a win we could've gotten. In retrospect, those 2 extra points would be crucial right now, but Bruce never pushed for it (meanwhile, last cycle Jurgen was toasted for pushing to win a game that would've seen Mexico eliminated).... just like he subbed late the last two games. He's always one to keep you in the game, but doesn't go for a win, rather he tries not to lose.

The injuries and poor form look set to continue (Brooks, Cameron etc) overseas, and it's going to be tough to get the best from MLS guys. And Bruce says "I haven't looked but surely there's not many Panamanians in Orlando"... lol check a map dummy. Closest place to Panama is Florida and yes they can drive up from miami. When Klinsmann left I didn't realize we'd stop playing in Seattle and Utah in favor or east coast cities with rival teams populations... so many holes to fix, too little time. 25% chance we F-- this up.

Wow so much to cover but I knew we were doomed when I saw an interview a couple mins before the game where bradley said they would be happy with a draw- a couple of quick points more to come from my thoughts later.

1. We need to bring in Feilhaber or Gulp Klestan-

2. Bradley needs to sit- people ran through and by him offered very little

3. We need a pure DM and shit for the last 2 games its either Jermaine Jones or beckerman-at this point the interview I saw Bruce mentioned he won't be the coach after 18 so he didn't want to bring new players in (paraphrasing)

4. Pulisic out wide not sure why we would ever put him out wide again

5. Acosta not ready-very slow to close on people and seems to not want to tackle people

6. Fabian at LB or he is off the team-no more beasley

7. no more gonzo

8. I have said for a while Besler is not fancy but plays solid doesnt have the gonzo gaffes

9. wood is an auto starter

10. Dwyer, williams, perhaps hyndman need to be called in, even green and siaf when healthy

11. villafana no thanks

12. give garza a try

13.. geez so much more

I am concerned for the next 2 games -we seem to think it will be easy but we have shown we do not deal well with pressure so it could get dicey--

Feel like those two have been inconsistent no? Although they would be interesting still especiall for width. Another players is Justen Glad, Kellyn Rowe, Greg Garza, Justin Morrow. Just a few names going down the line and doing well in MLS. At this point I think Bruce should pick a system and try to fit guys who will work best in that system without depending where a player plays as long as he is playing and playing well. Whether this is a 5 man back line (which actually fits the personal) or a 4-2-3-1 or w.e he as the coach decides. Cant be this lost come June or its 0-3 and out.

I just watched the game. I'm glad we survived. Concacrap away games are always ugly brutal crappy games...through the decades, with different coaches and whatever formations. They're just shit disjointed games.

Every player on the team looked they were shot with tranquilizer darts.

I didn't want to see Omar and Zusi because of their lack of speed and the likelihood they would be on the same side of the field...they looked really awful on the goal. Omar had a couple chances to toe poke that away to kill the play...also he simply can not connect a pass out of the back. Cameron came on and hit a number of lengthy accurate passes...another bad decision not starting Cam.

I wanted to see Beas for his speed, but he couldn't stay in the same area code as Elis...I was a little surprised he did so poorly since he trains with Elis all the time.

Liked the 4-2-3-1 but not the arrangement of players. Just a bad decision to have Deuce try to play 90 in that heat. Everybody looked slow but Deuce was really off the pace of the game. We couldn't win any first or second balls up top. I would have loved to have seen Deuce come on fresh for the last 25 minutes against tired legs with the game opening up.

I would have had Puli under Wood with Morris at Rmid driving the line.

I don't know what was going on with Nagbe...looked like lost all confidence after hitting that terrible shot. He really shrunk away from the game. In hindsight , Arriola would have been a better option.

I'm sure it will come down to beating Panama and at least grabbing a tie against T&T to get in. I'm not worried...

Still think there will be a mini shake up with the roster, maybe 3-4 guys fall out.

This. We're hot garbage right now, but let's at least play guys who a) are employed as professional soccer players, b) are healthy and c) want to/are eligible to play for the U.S.

Why not bring in someone like Farrell no? I think he would do well on Defense. I'm also not sold on Nagbe. He's like that kid who does great in little league, but when he's called to All Stars he's just average at best. I would rather have Feilhaber or Sacha in the middle with Pulisic on the wing. Nagbe is just wasted space imho.
