I think Arena will go with a 4-1-3-1-1 to start, then morph to two forwards later on if we still haven't scored. I'd rather go with Wood as the sole forward, but Arena will probably go with Jozy. Puli tucking in most of the time to combo with Deuce and Nagbe. I'd like to see Puli attacking the right channel...hopefully beat their outside CB, assuming they're in a 5 back...then shoot or play to the far side once the other CB shifts strong side. He and Nagbe should generate a ton of fouls in the CR defensive third.

.......................Jozy...............
.........Deuce......................
Fab.......Nagbe...........Puli.....
...................MB..................
Beas......Besler...Cam....St. Zusi
..........Timmy.................

Interesting, Ream instead of Besler. Deuce still a super sub...Villafana instead of Grandpa Beas.

I haven't heard anything but I'm pretty sure Beasley will start in Honduras. At least that makes sense to me. Honduras is a hostile environment and Beasley is a steady vet.

@skangles- for the reasons you mentioned, Johnson is on Villafaña's side because he is more deficient than zusi in every aspect...

Really want to see if Fab is bringing his A game.

I'd rather see Besler with Cam...especially with Villafana and Zusi at flank back. Back line continuity hopefully won't be an issue if we can maintain more possession in the midfield...Nagbe needs to do his thing in the middle.

Concerned about Villafaña and Johnson, due to lack of club playing time recently.
Concerned about Zusi getting beat a few times.

My guess as to Arena's lineup wasn't too close.
But we really don't know the midfield shape yet, do we??

Here's a good thought experiment, boys:
If we're winning by 2 with 15 minutes left, who do you bring on for who?

I'd say Villa is the weak link for the first 17 mins

CR is going to be dangerous all game I think. They are on it.

Good ball by Villa to Puli at the end of that. Otherwise, he's still the weak link.

That seems like it should have been a PK drawn by Jozy.

How is Cameron our 2nd weak link today?

Nice ball from Jozy to Puli...too bad.

I'd like to see us find Fab a little more often to balance our attack they're throwing a lot of numbers at Puli.

Great pass and channel run by Puli...looked like a PK, but Jozy always goes down easy...doesn't help his case.

Yes, Chris. More to FJ

Also yes to what Twellman is saying. The CBs looked crap positionally.
