Christos just scored on DC United in the 23rd minute, on a free kick over the wall from 20 yards.

(DC fielding half A team, half B team)

Also, the camera work is "local sports" level.

Well, it looks like Christos got clobbered.
They lost their target forward to injury.
I only saw the first half.

They had a story on the Christos team in the Washington Post and on one of the local news channels in DC the other night, about them being sponsored by a discount liquor store, all the players' regular jobs, them not being able to practice, etc. This is what makes the U.S. Open Cup fun, nothing else in American sports like it. For USL (and soon USL 2) and NASL markets like Louisville or Tulsa or Richmond that don't have any major league teams in any sports, this is their one chance to play against the big markets. That to me is a big selling point if you're an Omaha or a Boise and looking to get a USL team. I wish we could do what England does and reserve weekend slots for the matches, but I guess they don't want to hurt league game attendance.

I live in Cincy and went to the FC Cincinnati vs Crew game, it was amazing, MLS here we come!!! Suck for Columbus that we already outdraw them in attendance for our entire existence and now we beat them on the pitch

@chance2bad- here come the big bad Chicago Fire though- I am anticipating that, and I root for Cincinnati to make MLS (behind Sacramento, Nashville, and St Louis), as they are one of a few deserving cities across the country.... I do like other cities bids more though. Good luck in the Open Cup match, you'll need it!
