Great job by the US. Happy for them and good luck on Sunday

Also I'm not sure Pulisic will be with this team when they go the the World Cup

Last u20 World Cup they made pot 1 each continental champion (except ofc) and the host. Concacaf teams were then seeded with conmebol. Teams weren't allowed to be in same group as sameness federation teams.

Pretty much this means the winner of concacaf championship is guarenteed a harder draw then other concacaf teams as they are guarenteed one match against a South American team while the other concacaf teams avoid them and can get a better draw (guarenteed one Asia or ofc and a chance for two ).

It's actually better for their World Cup run if they lose to Honduras

Very true although you do avoid Germany and NIgeria and the winner of Conmebol. Theres always a possibility of getting group of death

Doubtful. There are just too many good midfielders in this age group and with the limited number of roster spots I just don't see him beating anyone out.

Nigeria didn't qualify. Africa has Zambia, guinea, South Africa, and Senegal. None of the historical tough teams. I just think champ is guarenteed a harder draw. Now if they change the pot system all bets are off but based off last year the pots will be:

Pot 1: South Korea, Japan, Uruguay, France, Africa champ, concacaf champ
Pot 2: Argentina, Ecuador, Venezuela, 3 concacaf teams
Pot 3: other 3 African teams, 3 crap Asian teams
Pot 4 New Zealand, Vanuatu, 4 hard Uefa teams

As champ you are guarenteed either Venezuela, Ecuador, or Argentina (can't draw a concacaf team)
As non champ you have automatically avoid Argentina and if you land France, you get either New Zealand or Vanuatu.

Likely draw as champ- us, Argentina, crap Asian team, hard euro team
Draw as runner up- Japan, us, crap African team, hard euro team

May not be too different but more opportunities for easy draw as runner up

We won the title. We were not great but we were good enough in the moments that mattered.

I am probably in the minority but there seem to be more athletes out there than players. By that I mean they look lost and are just getting by on raw athletic ability. If he is willing to commit to the US I believe Scott could provide some craft to the team. He has played in the UEFA U-19 Champions League two seasons so he has a lot of international experience.

Glad, Palmer-Brown, Lennon best three players from this team. I think mass changes will be in store for the World Cup. Can Marcelo Borges recover and be the LB? Will Haji Wright, McKinnie, de la Torre, Perez, Gaines, Akale or Sabbi get real game time with their clubs? Lots of question marks over this team at this point in their careers, even though like Lynden Gooch they may well be better the year after... Most talented of all time when all are eligible? I'd say so but even CCV and Zelalem need to play games. Rust factor?
