So looking ahead to the u-20 World Cup what does everyone think Tab's 23 man roster will be and what would be your starting 11? I'm really looking forward to this group we really could make a lot of noise this world cup.

Its actually only 21 guys not 23. Qualifying roster was 20 (only two goalies so 18 field players in each team). If I had to guess on some replacements Id say the following (pending availability).

CCV in for Herrera
Tatiague, McKinnie, Zelalem, Perez, Wright, Akale for Gonzalez, Guthajar, Croft, Sabbi, Ebobise, and Lewis

Ebobise did not have the best group of games. But I think his previous performances may allow him the opportunity to make this club. But those six you listed make it awfully hard to get into the 21.

Will they use that extra spot for a 3rd keeper or an extra field player?

I do believe FIFA makes you carry three keepers for a WC tournament.

Yes, that was the case, and as I recall it hurt us in 2015 when Tall got injured, others got suspended, we ended up thin. Highlights the importance of having some versatile guys in the 18 field players.

I think Ebobise got exposed a little. And seeing how he's very unlikely to get minutes with Portland this year, it kind of puts him in the same boat as the other guys in regards to first team minutes. I think especially the Schalke guys have to go if they get released as they play awesome together.

Also I forgot about Olosaunde. If Man U releases him I'd imagine he'd slot in at LB and push Acosta to the bench and maybe Trusty off the roster.

And my guess is Vom Steeg, who is starting to get PT with Dusseldorf is the third goalie and likely primary backup to Klinsman.

Acosta looked pretty damn good, why would Olouasunde go to the bench?

If anything Fossey looked the weaker of two backs.
