Stuart Holden played some of the best stuff I've seen as well but neither guy could be counted on.

When we say all time, are we saying all time comprehensive performances or just their skill set and what they've been able to show. Or their apex?

--- Jozy -- Donovan ---
Dempsey - Reyna - Bradley - C. Jones
Beasley - Bocanegra - Balboa - Cherundolo
---- Howard -----
Subs: McBride, Ramos, Pulisic

Can't really find to much to fault you on your selections. For many it comes down to personal preferences. I never personally cared for Reyna, Tab or Cobi. I can accept/acknowledge what they did for the USMNT, but at the same time was never all that impressed with them.

IMO JOB & Jone are 2 players who deserve recognition....but understand that their injuries prevented them from representing us as often, and likely has kept them off your list. But skill wise they are worthy. Another player who I believe deserves consideration is Eddie Pope. He was a class player who really helped transition the US from the days of Lalas (boom-ball) to Boca who was a distributor.

I think it's a little early to include Pulisic & Brooks, but each have the skill/tools to be among the all time greats. Hopefully they'll live up to it.

If we're talking about just ratings, their attributes at their apex, a singular point in time. Pulisic is the best of all time.

If we're talking comprehensive at each position, hamsamwich probably hits the nail on the head. Tho I would argue Gooch instead of balboa, gooch performed rathr well for Standard Leige, managed to convince AC Milan and was a beast for us when he was fit on the nats.

Jones is the all time appearance leader and Altidore may soon follow that. One of my all time favorite players is McBride but the form Altidore is coming into these days is better than McBride at his best. Who would you put, Wynalda? That's crack my friend.

Altidore's form in Holland, and then for the nats (hattrick vs Bosnia, hattrick vs TNT at what 18, 19?) better than McBride's career as a whole. I'm literally measuring with his header from nowhere weighing heavily.

A more narrow formation:

----Wood-Dempsey---
----Pulisic-Feilhaber---
----Nagbe---------
--------Bradley----
Lichaj-Brooks-Cameron-Yedlin

Nagbe with a heftier defensive responsibility and only drifts to left winger role when Bradley is doing well (or we need a spark).

Truly sad the type of talent the USMNT lost to injury: Holden, JOB, Davies, Gibbs, Gyau( could still make a comeback) GATT.

I don't see CCV being released for the U-20 WC and the Gold Cup, so I'd guess either Hedges, Birnbaum, or Bruce's favorite Gonzalez as possible Replacement/Alternatives.

I'd go with Green or Gooch over Finlay on the front line. Both are younger and more skilled than Finlay.

Nah, I'd have at least two Fabs and one Brooks in that lineup.
