Yeah, as much as I like JJ he'd be a mistake for a DP slot.

As a Quakes fan, I'm totally fine with JJ going to the Gals ; )

JJ only does what JJ wants to do...and he will absolutely demand DP money.

Onalfo is going to have his hands full...

Onalfo + DP spot on JJ = a lot of disinterest on my part.

Why would the league allow the Galaxy to wear White Jerseys with Gray accents while allowing the Sounders to wear Gray jerseys? If ever there were a game for the Sounders to wear their Burn-Your-Retina-Green Jerseys, it would surely be this one.

Heh, it's poor consolation, but... at least Morris still can't use his left foot.

Because MLS refs are overachieving and the league has activated Challenge Mode?

Yeah, I went to the game. Jesus. JJ is done - he's just a mediocre player now. Zardes never was. Interesting to see him basically play an old school center forward. Reminded me of my high school team coached by the shop teacher - put the fastest guy up top and just bomb it to him when we get the ball.

And I was never a fan of Gio. No doubt he's got the skill of a Mexican and I appreciate it, but he's slower than molasses.

I'm a big fan of Cole's but that unfortunately is the worst game he's ever played in a Galaxy jersey.

Van Damme still fun to watch. What a CB is supposed to be as always.

LA could have had a couple of goals. Seattle could have had a couple more.

Poor Onalfo - he never had a chance. He'll get fired by the end of this year, but it's mostly not his fault.

I thought the death watch on Onalfo was mid season, but I'd say it's about three weeks now. That group of players is dysfunctional...Gio up top and the midfield are atrocious.

Well I haven't commented in a bit but just to point out how much Bruce Arena meant to the Galaxy he was and is a great coach. Many people use to hate and tell me Galaxy has great talent the coach doesn't do much.. Well sitting last place pretty much and lost more home games than the last 2 or 3 seasons combined I could say heck Arena is a he'll of a coach or maybe just Onalfo sucks and has no idea. Well I'm Glad Arena is coaching usa tho. Just shows how much Arena meant to the Galaxy.

Maybe Galaxy should take a page from Atlanta United. I cant believe how smart they were in assembling their roster.

Used 3 DP spots on young, improving South American guys (22-24 yr olds, not 29 yr old "name stars"). Brought in some veterans for defense (Parkhurst, Larewintcz, Garza, eventually Guzan). Then sprinkled in some youth players to give them experience when able (Vazquez, Carleton, Walkes, Robinson). They have the most goals and best GD so far and should only get better as the year goes on.

I'm watching matches, staring at glaring problems and thinking, "Well, they won't try that again next match" and then they do.

Playing Diop (one of the top two GKs) on an injury for about 30' 2 games back is just incompetent coaching. They never used that third sub. Lost 2-1 with a GK who couldn't come punch a cross, on a ground-level volley from 6 yards. What are the odds that Diop is now more injured than he would have been, and what are the odds that a fresh GK would have punched that cross that lead instead to the game winner?

Trading AJ De La Garza was a huge mistake, and they apparently did it knowing that Rogers was injured.

Jones-Pedro midfield seems to be designed neither to attack nor defend.

Boateng needs to hit the ball right-footed like 200 times a practice, every practice. You shouldn't be able to neutralize someone by letting him dribble across the goal.

Villareal is probably being under-used compared to what we have going on.

Dos Santos - Zardes forward tandem doesn't work when Dos Santos drops, and it doesn't work when he doesn't drop, but then again, Jones-Pedro not helping much.

Smith is looking rough on both sides of the field. Maybe integrating a rookie should be done under healthier circumstances?

It was gonna be a rough year for you guys without Bruce, and all the changes. MLS has just gotten a lot better, and Galaxy didn't bring in the type guys they normally do. Who thought they would miss Robbie Keane so much? (Or for that matter, Robbie Rogers.)

I just lived that for five years of my MLS fandom, but for the Galaxy it won't last long. With LAFC coming you all will re load with better players.

Lletget better return healthy though, Zardes looks like a 3/4 zardes, it would be a shame if Lletget isn't back either when he returns...

Losing Lletget really screwed you guys. His versatility is what i like mostly.

Jones looks slow.

Agree that it is a sign that MLS is slowly, relentlessly getting better. So, that's good.
