Alvarado is 24. He should be able to put his fuck-ups with the NT behind him.
He is getting minutes in the club world cup. Total soccer show said he didn't shit the bed.

Club World Cup is an exhibition tourney. B squad at best. He's likely getting minutes so he can learn their strategies and formations. Wait and see if he gets time once the season starts.

From what I'm hearing with Arena

Manneh
Feilhaber
Zardes
Pontius
McCarty
Rosenberry
Hedges
Zimmerman
Agudelo
Nagbe
Morris

I'm in agreement with all these.

I heard something like Beasley too? that wouldn't be so bad.

It will be fun to see some of these guys get a runout but I really didn't have an issue with Juergen's player pool. It was how he used his players that was the problem. On that list Morris and Nagbe are the two names that are the most exciting and Juergen was quick to include both in the MNT before dropping Nagbe which is where the problem lies.

I am completely biased but I won't have any complaints about bringing back Run DMB.

Hmmm last I checked all teams have their A squads and the games I seen are very competitive. Good for Alvarado on getting playing time against great competition hope he continues to play in the Final vs tigres and with his new team he can definitely be one of our best defenders question is where do we play him.

For me Alvarado takes over the role that Orozco had of playing all four back line positions as a backup. To build a team you need those guys who can fill in and hold the fort at multiple spots, so that you can have a specialist to do something late in a game.

Here's the Real Madrid lineup he played against:
Real Madrid, C.F.Real Madrid, C.F.
Real Madrid, C.F.

NAVAS
CARVAJAL
VARANE
NACHO
RONALDO
KROOS 72'
BENZEMA 80'
MARCELO
CASEMIRO
LUCAS V.
MODRIĆ

JAMES 72'
MORATA 80'

Not to be a dick, but:
Did you look it up before you spoke? I did.
CA played him against these guys. It doesn't mean nothing.

I think it says something that he is playing for a team that he won't play for next year. I see the guy being our new Orozco as well, as @goods just said. I'm very interested to see how he and Villafana start the season with Santos as they will be "in form" for the next round of qualifiers and available for selection.

just saw the replay of the final and i felt the ref robbed kashima, Ramos should of gotten the 2nd yellow and they were dominating towards the end of the game if they would of played vs 10 in OT i think Kashima would of been world champs.

I will gladly admit I could care less about an exhibition tourney. Having the ESPN scroll mention Real vs some two worded team, from some random country, that sounds like a 13 yr old made it up for his FIFA team is all I need to know

What a perfectly intelligent reply, and not at all defensive or self-righteous. I like the way that you changed tacks now that you know RM didn't play their b team.

I'll admit that the CWC isn't a big deal like CL, but the teams there are trying to win the matches. Maybe Alvarado will play with his new club, maybe he won't. But he just played decently against Real Madrid, and was subbed off for tactical reasons according to the guys at Total Soccer Show.

Bruce names his staff, I think someone had mentioned it earlier on this thread they thought he would do this.
