Every single Spanish media and commentators are saying it would be an absolute Joke if JK is still the coach tomorrow including tab ramos and marcelo balboa. Along with other MNT former players and coaches here in mls.

Ramos is a JK assistant.

Yeah but not this. The closest was against the Czech Republic in 2006.

I don't agree. I think there have been multiple games in the last 18 months with psychological failings for partial or full games.

But rather than rattle out a bunch of examples, I'll just agree to disagree.

Need to identify real LB's as well.

Taylor Kemp at DC united
Brandon Vincent at Chicago
Justin Morrow at Toronto

Or move Fabian back

mmee - Surprised you dis'ed Arena as a Galaxy fan. I thought he did a good job this year.

And as I've said all along Gulati is the fuck here. I don't know how that dwarf got his job. And I don't know how he gets fired. Anyone? Never been a big fan of Klinsy although I think he's done a decent job. Never understood why Bradley got fired. What the fuck do I know? Never understood why Arena got fired to be honest. Especially since it was just to be replaced by an Arena-lite.

I never understood the wild swings in moods people have about coaches. It's not like they get worse all of the sudden like players. Arena is a great fucking coach. Bradley is a very good coach. Klinsy has always been pretty good. Far from great as a coach. I mean his big accomplishment was finishing 3rd in the WC with Germany. At home. Are you kidding me. Like that's a great accomplishment.

But on a purely personal note I would love to see Klinsy get fired just because I hate him for being a weird combo of German + OC yoga. And the Lando thing of course.

Dempsey Landon and Wood up top with Pulisic and Fabian on the wings ? Possibly sasha and Nagbe in the midfield ? Couldn't be any worst that now right!!!!

Most likely cheaper than Klinsmann

I am/was a JK supporter. VS mexico he tried to field his best 11 can't blame him for trying a new formation, he had regular starters out, he had to do something- his starting 11 tonight was ok I would have preferred Yedlin and Birn instead of Chandler and Omar.

His main fault was bringing on, Zusi, and taking off Pulisic. We needed goals. Why not bring on

Sascha for bradley/jones

G.ooch for Omar

and then bring on Green

Its logical to say fire JK but until we get new midfield players for bradley and jones a new coach won't matter, we need to start getting our young players into friendlies, we had no possession the last 2 games I love jones and the old bradley but they are a couple steps behind and they do not compliment each other. Who knows what the youngsters can do, games against cuba don't count in my book, we should have played young guys in the copa-no need for us to see: Zusi, omar, orozco, Joney, Bradley, jozy in up coming friendlies

Green, Wood

Morris Pulisc Gooch

Stanko

Villafana Miazga CCV Yedlin

I didn't mean it as a dis- I meant that this last year the LAG had some chemistry problems at times, and that the USMNT has terrible chemistry problems right now.

I was trying to say that I would not be thrilled, given the hot-and-cold Galaxy last season, and I'm sticking to my classic pessimist form.
I would not object to Arena.

There has to be reckoning for some of these players as well. Especially the captain who played horrible in both games.

The players need to be held accountable as well.

Absolutely. Klinsmann should go but there was also zero leadership by the players on the pitch, too many basic mental lapses. Bradley should also go as captain. Him and Jones starting together at this point just isn't going to work, we know Jermaine's at the tail end and Bradley's almost 30, we have to start thinking beyond him too.

It's a bummer for MB when he doesn't play well, because it makes him look like a really non-specific soccer player.

1v1 Defending: meh
1v1 Attacking: double meh
Passing: pretty good when he's feeling optimistic
Speed: meh
Endurance: excellent
Shooting: nnnn ok?
Signature move: pass backward

Even worst to think Costa rica was without 4 of their top players tonight... With injury/suspension they weren't even at full squad.

Nope we had big injury problems the main reason even Landon came out of retirement.
If we had a healthy Zardes, Boateng and Keane no doubt we would of cruised to the finals...
