Wouldn't mind seeing Morrow get more looks with the USMNT for LB.

Is he a natural lefty? I saw him use both with ease and also when he was at san jose.

Well Seattle is playing horrible. More of the same Sigi Schmidt type of bunker ball when away.

That was an unbearable half to watch as a Seattle fan. Morris looking bad on the wing. Not his best position.

LA desperately needs to get younger.

This was clear to everyone but the front office and homers, from before the season started. So really, I have to blame the club more than the old guys who would love to win just one more. Stacking the team for 32 and up was stupid.

I wouldn't include Van Damme at 31 in that because he killed it all season.

That's always been Bruce's MO though. There's lot of good players at Galaxy II but he likes his vets.

I'm not worried. We have plenty of money and everyone wants to live in LA. Could we have been a Boateng away from getting a goal yesterday? Maybe, the game was pretty close. God, Colorado really has no offense. . .
Anyway, injuries absolutely killed us this year. And I do admit that injuries are the big risk you get w/ an older squad. So, yes I am all for some changes, but they don't need to huge.

- Van Damme is Newcomer of the Year and Defender of the Year IMO.

- Ashley Cole has been great and he doesn't get the credit he deserves. He would have been one of my finalists for Defender of the Year.

- Keane has been the best Designated Player in the history of the league IMO. We rode that train until it ended, sadly, this year. You always take that big risk w/ older players that the injury bug is going to get them. Thanks, Keane, you've done amazing things for us, but you are no longer worth DP money.

- Lando - I hope to see him back. But I don't think he's worth the pro-rated $430K salary that he received - on the field that is. LA probably got that money back in #26 jerseys.

- Gerrard - Ugh. One of my favorite players of all time, but a bust in LA, no doubt. Good to hear that he wants to still play. Definitely not worth DP money. And again, big risk of injury again.

- Gordo - I've always been a big fan because the dude just scores but I hated the fact that he started the last few games. He's flat out not good enough to start in MLS anymore. Doesn't have the speed and ball skills. Bruce was in a bind though with all of the injuries.

- Laurentowicz - Not much, but I don't think much was expected of him.

- De Jong - Was decent in his time. Glad to see him go. You could see the quality, but I never liked that the fact that he's always going to get a couple of red cards each year and that will cause you to drop points.

---

Steres is weak and Rowe is weak. I'd like to see upgrades in these 2 spots as well as replacements for the above changes.

Legit, Rogers, Boateng, Zardes good MLS players. And of course Gio. So, I think as we do most years we'll be within that group of top several teams.

Yes, the Boateng injury was most likely a big hit, especially as he became a more consistent player.

All I am saying is that the last thing I'd want to do is blame each over-32 player individually when I can't blame any one of them for wanting one... more... season....

I would blame the coach and office for this. On that side of it, I don't even see how it was a good idea.

The hot-and-cold chemistry problems I guess I'd blame every last person for. Those were pretty dramatic.
