Still not sold on Kljestan. Have a feeling it will be Bradley and Jones in the middle if JK goes with a 4-4-2.

This is my formation and starting 11:

----Jozy---
Morris--Kljestan-/---Pulisic
--/--Jones---Bradley---
Fabian--Brooks--Gonzo--Yedlin
------Howard----

Honestly Feel that Bedoya would start over Morris. Not saying he should, that will probably be the selection, or maybe something weird like Wood on the wing, or up top with Jozy, and Bradley and Pulisic as Left and Right mids

If Cameron was healthy and we could hold possession better we have the personnel to play 3-4-3

Horvath
Cameron, Besler/Birnbaum, Brooks
Yedlin, MB, Jones, FJ
Pulisic, Altidore, Green

A little too ambitious to use against Mexico or CR away, but something to possibly consider.

I expect we will use the following against Mexico

Howard
Yedlin, Omar, Brooks, FJ
MB, Jones
Pulisic, SK, Green
Altidore

I think wood will start over green. But now that morris is most likely out i see green being a sub. Also Jones left the game early not sure if he will be 100% also so he can also be a sub.

Here is what I would like to see

Wood-Altidore

Green - Pulisic -Johnson

Bradley

Besler-Brooks-Gonzo(only bc he play against so of these guys) -Yedlin

Howard

Subs: Jones, Bedoya, Birn, Sascha

Will Jones be fit and sharp, if so how many mins could he give us 60?

Do we trust Sasha in this game?

Do we play bunker ball or do we try and take it to them

Do we trust Chandler, man he plays good for club but looks disinterested for Country-could he have just had off days and now its time to give him a look?

Having Cameron out really hurts us..

But we do have plenty of guys playing well. We will not see the above but....plenty of things to think about in our back 4 Besler is not my choice going forward but he would surely has not played bad in his lb stints, he would bring some stability in the back and offer nothing going forward but that wouldn't be needed with the others in the lineup

Or how about Pulisic up top with Jozy?

The diamond with Sacha, Jones and Bedoya, Bradley holding.

Fabian, Brooks, Birnbaum, Yedlin.

Howard.

I like it, but I like besler in the back-he doesn't make mistakes doesn't go forward but...

fabian is more interested when playing in a more advanced role.
I think wood up is good as well, the guy hustles but has skill to compliment

I like your lineup -

My question is how long to do you think Jones can give us 60-70?

I thought Wondo had a knock which ruled him out as well. But yeah, no sold on Gordon. This is the "we need a goal late, toss Gordon in and launch cross after cross into the box" contingency....meh

To be fair, Argentina would have that too, with Palermo, he would say that Palermo would only play if they were down a goal, lol.

Plus Gordon would not be bad to have in a dog fight in Costa Rica. We need to be ugly there and there may not be an uglier player to bring in, who can get a goal.
