So just saw we went 0-3 and no one posted anything about it. Had we won like 2 games I bet this thread would of had like 10 pages about it with some calling for some players to be with the senior team. We are still behind need to wait longer.

@admsghs27 - I can't dispute that if we'd won 2 of these games there would have been a lot more comments posted on this thread. And I'm sure there would be a number of people calling for some of these player to be called up to the Sr. Team.

However there were still positives to take away from this tournament.
1) U-20 Players had 3 matches against teams (Germany, Holland, & England) far superior to those we'll face in CONCACAF Qualification.
2) We were missing 4 or 5 major contributors for this age bracket (Wright, Perez, Akale, Palmer-Brown, Pulisic) and were still able to challenge those teams.
3) The team is still a work in progress and developing some good chemistry. There are some talented players within this age group. If we get releases for the top players we should be fairly dangerous.

Hopefully we'll be able to build off the positives displayed and improve the area's where we were Deficient.

What you say is true, if we would have won games, we would have been going crazy.

I think I would have posted more if I would have seen some games. If I could assess how maybe two or three players played, then maybe I would have gotten excited, or disappointed.

I was happy we scored goals against solid teams...imo, it is easier to work on the defensive shortcomings. Getting quality goals against top opponents is a big deal...the biggest missing piece of the puzzle for us at all levels.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
