I think JK should really experiment with these games.

Here is my 25 man roster:

GK: Hamid, Horvath

D: Yedlin, Rosenberry, Lichaj, Acosta, Miazga, Birnbaum, Brooks, Gonzo

M: Zelalem, Stanko, Kitchen, Williams, Nagbe, Morales, Hyndman

A: Rubin, Green, Pulisic, Arriola, Morris, Gyau, Wood, Picault

Gyau is playing again for Dortmund reserves.

But he may just go with all Euro guys considering MLS season is winding down.

I think its going to be heavily experimental. My guess is anyone in MLS on teams that are fighting for playoff lives (DC, Orlando, Revs, Portland, Seattle) gets left home. Also I would think that fringe Euro guys (Hyndman, Pulisic, we'll see about Miazga) get left to train during the break. Maybe Chandler is brought back since its low stress. Wouldnt be surprised to see Brooks & Fab left behind either though

Im hoping Gooch is brought in for this one. Would love to see Arriola given both starts as he has a great motor. Lets see Stanko play CDM. I wouldnt be surprised if jermaine Jones is also brought in to be captain and the steady veteran (also since he's been out of the picture for so long JK throws him a bone to stay around ahead of Mexico)

Can he justify Zelalem's inclusion?

I want him to, trust me. But does Zelalem being in the first team at Arsenal but not playing, or consistently in the 18 merit his inclusion.

CCV has been 18 on and off, and he's ready to break through any day now. He I can def see.

Being in Arsenal's first team and with Arsenal playing a style that JK wants to play. Would absolutely warrant a call up (especially in an experimental side). Now I would be very cautious in starting him (doubtful he goes 90').

But taking a look at someone in any of the top 20 teams in the world, especially one known for a quality youth system. Absolutely.

Green, Pulisic, CCV, and Zelalem should absolutely be given looks.

While I like most of your player selections I think you are missing a couple of key considerations that will have a major impact on which players are selected.
1) We start the Hex a month after these games. It is important to have a fair number of "A" Team Core at these games to reinforce the chemistry we'll need to take points in the first 2 matches against Mexico & Costa Rica.
2) There are a number of players playing at a high level who have recently returned to health.
I'd therefore expect to see something more along the following:
GK: Guzan/Howard, Horvath, Hamid
D: Yedlin, Fabian, Cameron, Brooks, Villafana, Chandler, Birnbaum,
M: Bradley, Kljestan, Nagbe, Bedoya, Williams, Kitchen, Hyndman, Stanko
A: Wood, Jozy, Pulisic, Arriola, Gooch, Johannsson, Morris

We need a close representation of our preferred XI to continue to develop the chemistry we'll need for Mex & Costa Rica. I would expect we see something like the following:
----------Jozy--------Wood-------
--------------Kljestan------------
--Pulisic-------------------Bedoya--
-------------Bradley---------------
-Fabian---Brooks-----Cameron---Yedlin--
-----------Howard/Guzan-----------

My guess is he will use the OF's to experiment...not with personnel so much but with formations. In one of the matches I would expect us to play with a back three with wingbacks. Give Mexico and Costa Rica something to think about.

3-4-1-2

Guzan
Cam, Birnbaum, Brooks
DY, MB, Jones, FJ
Sasha or Nagbe
Wood, Altidore

I would go with...

---Wood -- Morris --

- Pulisic - Kljestan -- Nagbe -

- Villafana - Brooks - Gonzo - Yedlin --

------ Howard -----

Don't think jozy or bradley will want to go because of the mls/playoffs i think kljestan just plays in 1 of the games and goes back to NY depending on their playoff position, don't think seattle makes playoffs that's why morris and pulisic won't be playing heavy minutes with Dortmund so he will get called in to get more playing time, and brooks to get back to the mnt fold. only exceptions are yedlin and wood to get them more prepared vs mexico. There will be many new faces for subs and several young players in my opinion.

While I agree with you I don't think we'll see Rosenberry until the January Camp. Villafana isn't available for January camps so the October friendlies is the best opportunity to see if he can contribute to the team. If Villafana isn't called up this October than we're not likely to see him for a long time.

Oops left out Gooch. JK has already hinted at his inclusion for these friendly games.

Gonzo over Cam?? Cam and Brooks showed at the copa that they are, hands down, our starting center backs for the time being. I haven't seen a pairing work that well for the USMNT in quite some time.
