Im glad you bring Cameron up. How much do you think he'd go for in a transfer? He's been successful in EPL for 4 seasons and likely has as much top quality soccer left in him as Bolaise (defenders last longer than wingers). My guess is Cameron wouldnt go for more than 3-4 mill. Why is that?

The Homegrown rule has an impact on the inflated transfer valuations. Right now on a teams 25 man roster they must have at least 8 Homegrown players. To be classified as homegrown one must be on an English team for at least three years before the age of twenty-one.

So for example Hyndmann and Zelalem would be considered home grown. I would say being homegrown raises the transfer valuation up 25 to 50 percent.

Looking at his cv, Bolaise appears to be homegrown and plays a position of need. Cameron, if he was sold, would require another go around with the work permit folks, which would be a formality. I dare say in this market he could maybe be valued as high as 8 million.

Cameron isn't a permanent starting 11 player. Close. But not automatic. He's 4 years older. And defenders are worth significantly less than attackers and mid fielders, as I would think, everyone is aware. And as said before, Bolasie plays a position of need and with a ton of pace. Far greater value to a club than a utility defender.

Bolasie is IMMENSELY Skilled.

He comes from the Congo, so would you imagine there being a biased against him too?

Probably. The guy has skill and if Europeans shell out cash it's because of that.

Our guys don't show skill, unless it's Adu, and multiple teams took flyers on him, didn't work out for them obviously. But see, that's what they look for. 23 goals for Fulham gets you on the "other, OTHER" team in London. Especially when you didn't show the skillset of someone like Tevez (West Ham), or Berbatov (other other team Tot).
