For your weekend viewing take a look at this horrific story:

http://espn.go.com/espnw/culture/the-buzz/art...

About the lamest thing I've ever seen. Glad ESPN brought it to light. Hopefully these two youth clubs lose any USSF licences and coaches get fired. Pathetic that they did this for a whole game.

Well, if I were a player in a similar situation I would do whatever it takes to advance. So if that meant kicking the ball around for a few minutes without attempting a shot.. see ya in the knockout rounds

Well, they knocked around for all 90 minutes, that is a disgrace.
Imagine if US had let 10 goals in against Panama so that they keep Mexico out.

I just love how you can tell the girls think it's stupid. They keep looking over to the sideline like they're saying really we have to do this for 80'. Every minute boot to the other team to let them do it. Pathetic. They could have at least made it look like they were trying by having someone dribble forward and then miss kick a cross attempt or something.

I would be in favor of actually playing the game. If it's not tied in the last 5 minutes or so then do whatever. The kicking the ball around the whole time was the dumb part for me. Not the result.

And giving up 10 to keep Mexico out of a WC would be the most amazing thing ever.

The young soccer careers of Rubio Rubin and Brady Scott are headed in completely opposite directions.
