Impressive display from the U-20's tonight. They could have a very impressive attack. Defense and midfield looks good too.

Brooks Lennon and Haji Wright could add even more attacking talent.

Ebobisse is really talented. Remember that name. Both Akale and Saucedo were impressive too.

I have a feeling you probably won't see Pulisic with the U-20's. Next summer is the Gold Cup, and I could see Pulisic on that team instead of the U-20's.

You mentioned Haji Wright. He is my pick of a u20 making the 18 as the season drags on.

Anybody know where in Carson they are playing? I was debating going to watch them. Carson is only an hour drive for me.

If the U20s qualify that is going to be a huge talking point. Pulisic, CCV, EPB, Zelalem. Will all of them be there? None of them? If they all get added to the U20 World Cup we could be the team to beat.

I think Pulisic's inclusion may depend on CONCACAF/CONMEBOL and them deciding if they will do a joint Copa going forward. If they do then CONCACAF will likely have to change their gold cup format (once every 4 years?) If they do that then the 2017 Gold Cup could go back to like the 2009 & 2005 as meaningless exhibitions. Will have to wait and see

Tough to find much information about the game without watching it on YouTube. For anyone that watched, did Mukwelle Akale feature, and if so, how did he look? And by that I mean two things: (1) how did he play; and (2) does he still look tiny out there compared to the other players in the age group? Thanks in advance.

Akale is done growing height wise. He will stay at 5'6". He is very much the same mold as David Silva. And he was outstanding technically against Costa Rica. Nutmeg hung defenders in the 6 yard box.

USA destroys Panama 4-0. This US team is pretty good good. Could be even better with the additions of Zelalem, Lennon, EPB, Redding, Pulisic, Wright, and CCV.

Comparing the potential of talented depth to the 2015 u-20 team and this u-20 team is deeper, when you take into account all of the players not called up for this tournament. Two more players missing are Joshua Perez and Nelson. Nelson is a talented LB.

Isiah Young at RW is a talent as well.

2tone you know these players extremely well. Is Sonora somebody that can make the team or is it that deep? Also how do u see a potential line/formation in a WC? Is it also fair to assume this will be the group in qualifying?

Its even harder to nutmeg the hung defenders...

Akale is the type of player that we all like to watch.

@goods- Soņora played last u20 cycle.

Tab Ramos will be the next USA coach after Klinsmann, I love his approach these last three cycles, even if it hasn't come off in terms of results exactly. Tab always is looking for pure soccer players, and has done a good job of identifying them. The attackers this go around are solid and the defenders really have a chance as the cream of the CB crop moves towards the u20 WC and CCV and EPB are brought in alongside Redding.
