Nagbe plays in the middle of a 4-3-3. It unreasonable to see him there. I forgot Bradley will be back so I would put him there instead of Nagbe, and change formation but not unreasonable.

The only changes I see happening:

Bradley for Beckerman
Orozco for Yedlin
Birnbaum for Besler
Howard for Guzan

Other than that I expect to see the same:

Jozy/Wood
Fabian Bradley Bedoya Zusi
Acosta Birnbaum Cam Orozco
Howard

Subs: Pulisic, Rubin, Morris

Why are the last two posters suggesting putting NAGBE in front of the back line?? I'm all for an attacking lineup, but....you guys.....use your brains.

forgot you were the soccer god. The rational would be j.k tinkers, uses people out of position all the time, so why not. We all know what bradley brings to the team, why not bring in someone else to gain experience. Its not a make or break game, save bradley he has alot of milage on his legs- no need to see him in this game, let other plays get a go against a better team than what we just played. Nagbe game has grown he has shown the ability to stay back and fight when needed. I will give you it is not my preferred nor ideal position for him, but I think most people agree he will be a bigger part of the team come 2018 so he minds as well get game exp now. Sorry for the post not being up to your standards.

I agree, I want to see Nagbe get more opportunities. But I think having him as a super-sub off the bench (at least for now) is the perfect role for him. It just builds depth for us. I think he can play in a 3 man midfield (if we played a 4-3-3), but not as the 6. And I think if we went with a 4-2-3-1, he could play in any of those spots underneath the striker.

I understand tomorrow's game isn't a make-or-break, but we still want to finish top of the group. And it is still a WCQ. I'd say, if we want to see Jurgen play Nagbe as the 6, do it in a friendly.

Kilnsman has strongly hinted that Pulisic will not be starting. He's said multiple times he wants to take it slow with him. He also said that he is playing his best XI, not giving guys opportunities, or playing young guys. I think this increases the likelihood we see guys like Zusi, Bedoya, etc. In fact I wouldnt be shocked (although I'll still be pissed) if we see a midfield diamond of Bedoya-Bradley-Beckerman-Zusi with Fab going back to RB.

Pulisic is performing well in a substitutes role, why change that now?? Russia 2018 is still two soccer seasons away. He will be getting 90 mins for his club by then, and so he will start for USA in the World Cup. And probably next summer in the qualifiers too, but I just don't see a reason to rush with the kid.

Acosta earned another game at LB- maybe he can take that position and run with it. More important to find a LB other than Fabian so he can attack, than it is to "start Pulisic"...

I think Acosta will start moving Fabjo up into the midfield and Beckerman sits. I can see a midfield of Fabian Bedoya Bradley Zusi. But would not be shocked to see Bedoya wide and Sasha in the middle.

Maybe JK drops Fab to LB and plays MB ahead of Beckerman...with Zusi and Bedoya on the flanks to start. That would be as conservative as he could get. I think he'll want to get more experience in the back line if he has to play Orozco and Birnbaum...It would be a bummer to see Fab in the back, but understandable given the circumstances.

Then drop MB to the 6 and bring on Stache...with Puli coming on at 60 at flank mid.

Yes, the second place schedule is more desireable, but we have put ourselves in a position where we have to go for the win otherwise there is a slim chance we don't advance.

T & T are through and they themselves can play for the second place schedule. However if Guatemala races out to an quick 3 or 4 goal lead early in the game, T & T have incentive to play in the hopes of knocking us out.

Not a big deal either way as long as we're in...We're always scrambling in the early stages of the Hex due to one thing or another...injuries or euro player availability, crap PKs...bogus reds...golazo free kicks.

We tie a team away and the sky starts to fall...newbies scrambling for cover. We follow that up with a tough away loss or home tie to CR or Mexico...then the JK OUT chants start to build..

The pundits start writing gibberish that JK's job could be on the line...still time to change the Head Coach ahead of the WC....everyone from Ramos to Mourihno gets tossed in as potential candidates.

Followed by the Armageddon home game....if we don't win the game with ______________ at home we need to blow up the entire US system and bring in Pep.

Then we win, followed by another tie or win, whatever we need to advance, and we're moving on...rinse and repeat

I think we're good to go.

I always think it will get easier because the quality of the players is noticeably better than the last time, but other teams improve at the same rate.

Always feels like Ground Hog Day even though we have guys like Pulisic and Wood coming through.

Ha! Yeah, cause starting the better players is such a novel idea.
