Cameron and Yedlin probably have as bad as a touch as him just that defenders don't get recognize as much... Just look at Yedlin's horrible touch vs costa rica and Cameron's vs Portugal it was his fault on both goals. That's why i think Besler should start with brooks.

Cameron has a terrible touch? That's absolute crazy talk. He's one of the most composed guys on the ball in the pool. Brooks/Cameron is a great centerback pairing.

Cameron Spin move on Bacca and James admsghs27

the word you are looking for is careless, Cameron is careless at times. Chandleresque, but he hasn't been as exposed as Chandler has... Actually that might not be true, that goal vs portugal, the bad angles he took in the second goal against Belgium..

But technique wise, I bet you Cameron schools the hell out of Bradley in futsal

I would disagree. With Zardes I don't think it is all about technique...he needs a little more poise...he needs to slow the game down a fraction and concentrate on receiving the ball and then think about what he is going to do with it.

I think it's more like any player, Zardes or otherwise, needs to learn how to know what he's going to do with the ball before it comes to him, so that when it does, he can concentrate on executing that action. It's about positional and situational awareness, as well as understanding what your teammates are going to do. Some guys have an innate ability to do this, others learn and get better at it. However, it makes it a whole lot easier if you grow up immersed in an environment that focuses on these types of things.

Step 1, understand what needs to happen when you receive the ball; Step 2, execute the appropriate technique to carry out same. I think Zardes has trouble with both - as do many players. Hopefully he can improve, as he can be a dangerous player, and has a great work rate. I'm rooting for him.

Lots of US jerseys all over Philly and just a handful of Paraguayan shirts. I don't know what that will mean for the amount of tickets sold but we should have an ovewhelming home field advantage.

Heard 50,000 seats sold as of yesterday. Philly is a very Pro-USA city so I expect them to support us well and Paraguay probably doesn't have a large immigrant population in the States. If so, they are either spread out or concentrate in one area, Philly not being one.

Same lineup is nice to see but I am worried about Jones getting a red in this one. I expect it to be an ugly game.

I like it. If fatigue isn't an issue, go with the same XI.

I think we get a 1-1 draw. Paraguay scores early and we get a goal late in the second half.

hope not... would be worried all game. Hopefully we can put our stamp on this game early.

Fatigue is such a real question and worrisome for me. Some of these players arent in their 20s but 30. 3 games in 9 days its worrying. On the other side Paraguay with their travel schedule and not being used the travel... gotta imagine paraguay is feeling it at some point.
