The three goal scorers are guys that countless people said Jurgen should give up on. Dempsey and JJ more recently, Wood when he was being called in while not playing for 1860.

But Jurgen doesn't know what he's doing, so.

We can't afford to. Goal differential is the first tie breaker. If we can maintain a big margin of victory then we'll go through on a draw against Paraguay so long as Colombia wins tonight (that's a lot of what ifs, but we need to extend the goal differential if possible).

I know. Just the paranoia of the past I guess...

I've been a supporter of Dempsey until the last six months since we need to be looking to the future and we have more technical players, who I think look to combine to make plays. Jones on the other hand I did not enjoy as a number 6. He was an undisciplined time bomb waiting to explode leaving our back line exposed. Now, in the number 8 role he's not as much of a liability but we do have to find other options. We all know that a lot of the players in that spot aren't ready yet, but we need to move on eventually. Wood I've always liked and supported. I'm good with owning who I like and dislike, some peoples reasoning is just ridiculous though

I said a few weeks back when people were trying to say Dempsey should be demoted to a sub (before copa even started) that until he stops scoring he should be a lock. Still proves true. We will move on eventually, but not while he's creating chances.

Bobby Wood has to keep his cool there. He could have been sent off.

I think we'll see experienced subs over the younger guys. Try to calm this thing down. Probably see Zusi, maybe KB.

I would like to see jones dempsey and zardes getting subbed off. I think we need to keep those three energized for the paraguay game.
