I know sanil made the comment that this was a must win in regards to to klinsmanns future, wonder if that was funneled down to a few of the players. Sure is looking like it

Dempsey is having the game of his life. One of the best 45 minutes of his career, at least in a game of this magnitude.

Funny, how some were crying for a line-up change. I thought this outfield 10 had enough experience and talent to beat Costa Rica. So far, they are proving they deserve their place. They have to keep pouring it on, try to get another goal before the subs finish them off with another goal. Final result 5-1.

3-0 hell of half lol. But still worry when we start matches. We seem to always start slow. Dempsey and Jones shutting me and others up. Also good for wood loving that guys. He isnt a passer he is a finisher. Coincidence is he is in the middle when he scores.

We can't afford to. Goal differential is the first tie breaker. If we can maintain a big margin of victory then we'll go through on a draw against Paraguay so long as Colombia wins tonight (that's a lot of what ifs, but we need to extend the goal differential if possible).

Serious question, why do people hate Wondo so badly for his squandered chances when Zardes squanders at least one good chance a game? Is it just an age thing?

Have to give credit to JK on my behalf for sticking with Zardes. He is coming to his own and playing great toda. On an ideal day he scores that one but he hasnt lost a ball that easily and has held it calm and composed in tight s paces. Gives good passes and moves off quickly. Helps yedlin who still makes stupid errors but i think yedlin will get into his top defensive shape in two or three years.

Dempsey showing out although I would say his performances in Brazil were bigger in terms of importance. That goal against Ghana was sick. Jones has been really good as well ever since he switched to a CAM for colorado he has been bagging some sweet goals.

Because Wondo is suppose to be a finish product. Zardes is still developing, believe it or not.

God I would hate Dempsey if he played for Mexico. Dives all the fucking time, and he plays dirty. Got away with an elbow to the face on JJ's goal.

Ideal situation for Deuce wide open game with CR over extended chasing the game. He is taking advantage of a perfect set up for attackers. He is playing very well. I'm freakng happy we're up 3-0.

Complains about everything too. Must have picked that up from the latinos growing up lol. And Wondo is all that he is good at. Scoring easy goals or poaching. Zardes can offer more to the game and team. Plus same work ethics and hustle.
