I think our personal is shaping up to run the 4-2-3-1.

Fab-Brooks-Cam(Birnbaum)-Yedlin in the back.
Bradley and Kitchen(DWill/Morales) as CDMs
Nagbe as CAM.
Pulisic and Wood as wings
Dempsey up top.

Kitchen provides cover as Fab/Yedlin make their runs (3 need to communicate and be on same page).

This also is easy for us to transistion once the other young guys are ready. Once Dempsey is done he's replaced with Morris/Rubin/Fafa/Aron. If none of those guys are ready to step up then Wood slides up top, Fab moves up to wing and we make do with whichever subpar LB people want.

Only challenge I see is convincing bradley that Nagbe is the engine now and he his job is to help Kitchen get the ball to Nagbe.

Exactly!!!, I watched the game live and replay on ESPN online. While watching live, you get a different perspective, where I thought Yedlin was out position, jittery and was getting abused in the game in the beginning, and when I watch online on TV, he looked pretty decent (with few gaffes)... The Ecuador attack was completely on Yedlin's side, nevertheless, he is getting better and better for sure...

Also, folks on the TV (ESPN had a caption covering up) missed a great touch by Pulisic on a semi-long ball from Guzan, the ball just died on his toes.

You picked a good game to attended from an entertainment perspective (second half) but where were the rest of the fans?

What do you think the issue was? Is it Frisco's inconvenient location? I always hated going up there when I lived in Dallas.

While a 4-2-3-1 seems to make sense on paper (to us fans at least). It is not JK's preferred. If he can run a 4-3-3 he is running it. With what he saw Wednesday night I can almost assure you we will be lining up in a 4-3-3 the majority of the time.

I think it is two fold, ticket price and traffic, the cheapeast ticket was around $40,
Even with 6 Toll Lanes feeding Frisco, it is a nightmare to get there, on the game day, it was slow traffic/jam, people started trickling in slow.
