I hope we kill these guys today and ride a decent momentum into the copa

Damnit I can't wrap my head around how we would do it outside of an injection of enthusiasm, technique, and skill on behalf of Nagbe and Pulisic..

To go with Bradley Jones Dempsey, Johnson

Also doubt Fab starts. I could see a late sub appearance but doubt he is thrown into the starting lineup. Im thinking we see Orozco-Brooks-Birnbaum-Yedlin in the back

I'd really like to see this:
Wood - Dempsey (withdrawn FW) - Bedoya
Bradley (CM) - Kitchen (DM) - Jones (CM)
Acosta - Brooks - Birnbaum - Yedlin

I'd like to see what Kitchen can do with Bradley and Jones. See if he can be like Beckerman and stay back and allow those 2 the freedom to roam.

For Ecuador, knowing JK will automatically start Deuce and JJ, I'd rather see a 4-3-3 with JJ kicked out left to cover a little more D. Nagbe tucked in to help hold possesion up field or Zardes as a speed flank option

...................Wood........
........Deuce............Nagbe/Zardes
...............JJ.............MB......
....................Dreds............
Chandler...Besler...Birnbaum...Yeddy

At this point I don't want to see Deuce and JJ as automatic starters. Limits our options and flexibility.

I think Pulisic will be a late game sub and difference maker with gradually increasing minutes from now through the Copa. I think we're going to make some noise.... Quarters maybe Semis...Pulisic getting major minutes in the later stages.

I think we'll see the old guard given every opportunity to state their case in the friendlies, then gradually fine tune the 11 to get the most cohesive players that combo well on the field...not necessarily the best individual players...for me that means Deuce and JJ lose minutes.

I actually thought that's what the midfield was gonna be. But I'm shocked Zusi is starting. Just too fucking slow to be a winger. And hopefully Gyasi can prove me wrong with his lead feet.

Pulisic for one of the winger
Drop Bradley or Jones down to replace Beckerman as #6 & insert Nagbe.
Fab is already in as left back

I'm ok with this lineup. Just hope fabjo doesnt get hurt. What would make it better for me, Wood and Nagbe for Zusi and Zardes. Oh and Cameron for Stevie B.

cool just about what i thought would be the line up and formation. I think Zusi will be a sub with Bedoya over him and so is Zardes. After all Bedoya and Wood played on Sunday, no need to tire them out.
