But Hyndman isnt a CDM so his good. As for Miazga I think we all knew the risk of him going to a big team. His confidence i think is fine but to break into chelsea will be very tough. Conte will have final word.
Rumors that Maccabi Tel Aviv are offering 700K to MLS for Birnbaum. Not a lot of money. Would be a good move for Birnbaum as Israeli league is similar in strength and he gets some Euro League games and exposure.
I would say that he likely wont be in the picture until 2018 at the earliest. Its only a 2 yr deal so maybe if he dominates play he can get a transfer next year or in 2018 to high end Championship team or go to Netherlands or France

True. Fair play to Miazga for getting back to London early and starting training early with the reserves.

And it's not a huge step down in terms of league position (Huddersfield was 19th in the Championship, now he's going to a League One promotion contender (Scunthorpe only lost out on the promotion playoffs on goal difference to Barnsley, who then won the playoffs)). He's still only 21, he has some time to grow as long as he is playing regularly.

Caleb stanko scored in preseason for Freiburg. I know it's just preseason but if he could earn a regular spot in their game day 18 he helps out our cm depth

Pretty sad but it appears as though Cody Cropper has no takers, or he's holding out for something too big. He's currently training with Minnesota United. Maybe he's thinking join them and move up when they come to MLS? Would think that will put him well behind Steffen & Horvath (and probably Horton too) in the pecking order for young keepers

James Murphy signed with Sheffield Wednesday. Having never seen him play, and my only knowledge of Sheffield being that Gooch had a some time there is this a good move?

Cropper was already well behind Horvath. Probably Steffen too after his U-20 WC performance.

Did anything come out of the U20 that went to Turkey.
I can't put that all on Tab... he was with them for two months.
Tab isn't holding Gil back.
Tab isn't holding Trapp back. hehe that rhymed.
Tab isn't holding Villarreal Mario Rod, Alonso Hernandez Joquin, Cuevas (damni T!!!! that dude looked lethal) Mickey Lopez
Yedlin has been the only matriculation, correct?
And he wasn't the most touted out of that bunch, and from I remember reading, a player Tab advocated for the WC in 14.
And that's not to say that being 22 and not being on the national team is something to be ashamed of. But as a program if you're getting those players into your team, you would hope its because your current generation was golden.

Yeah I only remember like 3 players from that team. Yedlin Cropper and Gil. While I don't even follow France but I know Pogba was on that team and during the Euros several other players were mentioned as part of it.
Did a lot of those players max out their potential early on and that was it? I am not expecting them all to be USMNT players but I would at least think you would hear about them joining a team.

Ok I just looked up the roster and there are a couple of more names I recognize but still not much is coming from that team. I didn't realize Steffen was on that team. The only other names I have seen that might become something are Will Trapp and Caleb Stanko.
When I say become something I mean USMNT regular. Obviously this all depends on development so one of the other players could come out of the blue.
