have we ever seen the USA even in training do a rondo?

like 2 v 5 ?

I feel like that should be a required mandate from USSF to all MLS teams and their academies

Just get kids to do 1 touch exercise before you teach them anything, for like an hour.

highly doubt it. Some of them probably don't even know what it is.

The "crap" I was referring to was:
1. Someone said Zelalem is very fast and must be thought of as a wide midfielder. Noted that the perpetrator said he had mixed up his Z's and meant Zardes. All good there.
2. You had a few weird things in your Dolcem-lengthed post. It seemed like you had just smoked a lot of weed. Didn't get the 'dogfight' thing; disagreed w/ some of your rankings of player ball skills; comparing apples & oranges; . . .

Why are people so down on him? I think his trajectory is right on track especially for an Arsenal player.

Loaned out for the next two to three to different leagues. Wenger will assess his abilities and see if he's good enough for the first team. His first pro season seemed like any other for a just turned 19 year old.

I think the 2017 u20 World Cup would do him well too.

EK I'm not down on him. I just don't think in 2016-17 season that he'll be ready to compete for a regular spot on Arsenal's radar.
Perhaps the year after he would be ready to. But he isn't right now. Doesn't mean he never will be, or that he won't be a very productive player for the USA.

Lets face it to be a productive player for the USA and even a regular starter you don't have to be Arsenal caliber...

A bench warmer will do, which is why, if Wenger is giving him an opportunity, I don't think he makes the starting lineup, but potentially he can hover outside the match day 18. I feel like that's good enough for us, bring him and Hyndman in. as benchies of course.

At his age with little professional experience. Playing in the Championship for a decent side (not relegation battle) and getting regular starts and playing time is much better than sitting on the bench at Arsenal.

After tearing his ACL, Gedion is back in London doing rehab with Arsenal. It looks like he is moving comfortably and just started jogging again. He was also added to the Europa League roster, but there is no limit on youth players so it probably doesn't mean anything. His Arsenal contract expires in 2018, so I'll be curious where he lands and if he even is in shape to play some u-23 games by next summer.

I'm guessing he ends up in the Eredivisie next year, but who knows.

Come to MLS, at the very least he'll be closer to home.
