What Podcasts do you guys listen to?

The soccer podcasts that I listen to are:

1) Total Soccer Show - it's my favorite Podcast
2) American Soccer Now - Short and infrequent but always excellent
3) Planet Futbol - Grant Wahl usually has the best player interviews
4) The Mexican Soccer Show - Tom Marshall is a panelist and they offer well rounded viewpoints on soccer in Mexico
5) The SBI show - I only listen to this on occasion as Ives can be a bit much
6) Filibuster - My interest in this show directly correlates to how well DC United is playing

Men in Blazers is good from time to time depending on what interests you. They've had on Roberto Martinez, Jordan Morris, Will Ferrell and Raphael Honigstein (Das Reboot) to name a few. Roberto's was really interesting when talking about the US.

I lost a lot of respect for Total Soccer Show when previewing the CONCACAF cup they brought on Tom Marshall and Matt Doyle to speak. Tom Marshall is a great resource for all things FMF. But to have on a guy in Doyle who openly has a vendetta against JK is not giving both sides of the coin for that cup. At least Ives can give an unbiased account even though he can be a bit much. Rachel Bonnetta would have been a better choice.

I used to listen to MIB every week. I've fallen off but I listen to one every few weeks.

Planet Futbol is one I need to listen to more often. Straus and Wahl know their stuff.

Alexi Lalas has a new podcast called the Mutant Gene. I disagree with a lot of what he says but I have to admit that listening to his podcast is a guilty pleasure. He has a whole lot of passion and I like that.

Agree with everything else, but here are a few more that I've really enjoyed over the years. Gives some different (and sometimes hilarious) viewpoints on different soccer topics.
1. Football Ramble
2. Masssive Report (Crew SC)
3. The Best Soccer Show (when they actually make new ones)
4. Off the Ball Football Show (Irish podcast that has great EPL coverage and interviews)

I listen to several podcasts, but not a lot of soccer ones. Soccer Comics (aka Soccer Comic Rant) is good (more entertaining than informative), SBI show and MLSGB are pretty good, and I've listened to a couple of others but nothing really stuck like those did. I've only ever found one "podcast" for FCD but it's just the recording of the radio post game shows, but it's been a while since I went looking so if anyone knows of one, hook it up.

The SB Nation team sites do their own podcasts. I've never listened to the FCD podcast but I often listen to the DC United Filibuster by SB Nation Black and Red United guys and it's pretty good.

Here's the link to the FCD podcast. Give it a try but I make no promises.

Sweet, I knew SB nation did the team fan sites but I didn't know they also did team-specific podcasts, though it'd been a while since I'd been to the FCD SB page. I couldn't get it to load/stream just now but that may be a work firewall issue...

Anyway, thanks!

I'm really enjoying Howler radio's mini series covering the history of the Euros. Really well written and worth a listen.

The Total Soccer Show released an excellent breakdown of the anticipated WCQ roster. Worth a listen.

Also Ives has revived the SBI podcast and in a few of his first few shows back he's had on a few players as guests including Brooks Lennon, Nick Lima and Kellyn Acosta.

Is this a question about soccer podcasts, or what podcasts we listen to in general?

Feel free to take the discussion any direction you want.

I like podcasts from the Economist, the Pollsters and FiveThirtyEight's politics podcast.

As a one-off series Pin Kings is the true story of All American high school wrestling teammates, one of which went on to work for the DEA and the other of which became a major player in tue Colombian drug trade.

Well, for soccer, there's TSS, then there's everything else.
The only other one I listed to with any regularity is Planet Futbol with Grant Wahl.

I used to love Men In Blazers, until I realized that they basically refuse to have a take on anything. They are really funny though.

Outside of soccer, I like:
Freakonomics
Criminal (In)Justice
Criminal
The Treatment (Elvis Mitchell's film interview show)
the memory palace (history turned into personal stories)
Philosophy Bites

I used to listen to Earwolf / Comedy Bang Bang, but they refused to really do anything anti-Trump for a year, and yet they are really politically correct, which is kinda the perfect combo for being liberal in the wrong fucking way, and for being satirical in the wrong fucking way.

Shameless plug but a couple buddies and I from work started a podcast a few months back. We have a whopping 27 subscribers! Lol it's a fun movies and super hero nerdy news and reviews podcast. It's fun you should check it out. Actually our lastest podcast that should come out tomorrow will be an interview I had with Adrian Carr (he was the director for the pilot and few other episodes of the mighty morphin power rangers series.) should be pretty cool.
My job has taken notice and bc of it might ask me to start a soccer podcast for them. (I work for soccerwearhouse.com) so that might take off. Anyway check out Top3MovieMinute! We are fun.
