Yeah he needs to leave Chelsea ASAP. Would love to see him move to the Bundesliga. Also think he would be great at Huddersfield as well.

EPL teams buy they do not develop players and bring them through. I hope this wards off future Americans going to the EPL.

He is in a good position right now even if he can't break into Chelsea. He is getting paid well and learning the game. Hard to say he made a bad decision or that future players shouldn't follow he and EPBs example. Miazga should have a few clubs to choose from now that he isn't a Chelsea first team we and teams now know that. I still want him to go to Italy and learn that style, to be a defenders defender, that defense first CB we need to have.

Given how Giovinco was snubbed by his national team that was hurting for flair and comments made by Conte about MLS in his reason for not selecting Giovinco, I would be amazed if Miazga goes to Italy. In other words, I am trying to say Italians do not seem to rate American players.

That being said,if he does happen to end up in Italy this year on loan, it may signal he has a small chance at Chelsea.

Just read Miazga's situation will probably be sorted out in the next 36 hours.

Caen in the French Ligue 1 want to take him on loan but there are apparently other loan offers as well. Should be interesting.

He could do worse than the athleticism of the French league. Miazga himself is in a good position and is the new RCB until someone beats him out for the USA. He still needs to get better and this would be a solid move for him to again learn something new, put another club in his bag. Miazga is always going to be physical and his ultimate future is in the U.K., maybe still at Chelsea who will be losing senior defenders the next few years.

Nantes looks like they're moving in for a loan; provided he still gets regular minutes, could be a good next step for him.

The Nantes loan is official. Season long loan.

Skysports is reporting the loan with an option to buy but the Chelsea article does not mention it, it just says he signed a new deal through 2022.
