I think he'll prove he's above eredivise. Maybe he is loaned/sold to a low level epl team (crystal palace, stoke, wba, whoever stays up).
Also wouldn't be surprised if a la liga mid table team came calling as he almost went there this past summer.

if he makes eredivise squad 25 percent of the season. in the running for best eleven for the year. He has to be our starting CB right?

Brexit may play a part in Miazga's next destination since his Polish passport will no longer give him access to England and he will be judged by his USMNT matches and his loan appearances. I believe a loan on his current contract to another English team would work since the permit is for length of contract, but a sale nullifies the old contract and he would have to re-register for a work permit.

My guess is that Vitesse may make an offer to buy Miazga from Chelsea and Chelsea will have other offers for him and will probably sell him for a profit.

I'd like to see him get a new contract at Chelsea and then loaned out to a Serie A team. I think Matt would thrive and really learn his craft in Italy.

Miazga will probably get many offers over the summer by various teams/leagues. Would love to see him leave Chelsea and make the move to a Bundesliga club.

Ajax and a few Bundesliga clubs were calling. I dont care his progression has been great. Staying at Chelsea would only be viable if Cahill leaves. Christensen and Rudiger are pretty entrenched plus Conte plays Azpilicueta as a 3rd Cb/Rb role.
If Conte leaves and he impresses the new manager then anything is possible.

Well it should be an interesting summer for him. His work ethic may make things interesting for him.
I doubt Cahill will be around and depending on the manager David Luiz will be gone as well. There will be an opportunity but Chelsea have a number of central defenders that have been in the England youth setup that were also on loan.

Just read that Man United are going to throw a lot of money at Leicester City for Harry McGuire.
Since Leicester were interested in Miazga in the past will be interesting to see if they pursue him if they sell McGuire.
I have a feeling he will be loaned out this year and sold next summer unless someone really wants him now.

Well Miazga is not in the pre-season travelling party to Australia so he will not be playing for Chelsea this season (typical Italian bias of American players). Here is hoping that he gets sold to a good league and he can continue to progress there.
