Nice.

Zelalem, Pulisic, and Morris seem to be shaping up to be a deadly combo in the next few years.

Yeah I just read about the goal, assisted by Kagawa in an apparent "you assisted me, I assist you" repayment of Shinji's goal earlier in the week. Looks like they're developing quite the midfield tandem, can't wait to see what kind of opportunities he gets once the bundesliga is back in action.

Now before everyone says to pump the brakes and be patient lets look at this openmindedly. Lets say Pulisic comes out of the winter transfer and is making the gameday roster and even gets some appearances. Lets say he is a starter for them right away in the fall.

Realistically, how early do we integrate him into US roster?

My answer would be if he's playing bundesliga minutes, and looking good while doing so, then I dont care about his age. Forget U20's come to the national team. Id say that if we beat Guatemala twice in march, and have hex clinched then bring him in for the sept qualies, or november friendlies at the latest. Why penalize him for being good? Im not talking of throwing him in the lineup to go 90 but if hes playing week in and week out for Dortmund come the fall, why wouldnt he deserve a call up?

Also my favorite part of the goal was his celebration. Cool, calm, and collected. Acted like it wasnt a big deal. Like even at 17 he knows scoring a goal in a friendly vs some South Korean team, when your team is already up two, doesnt mean anything. Very mature for a young player

If he is on a bundesliga team getting any type of minutes with his skill set

like you just have to look at his game to see how advanced he is, his touches, his control

then at the very least he deserves to come into a camp and compete against Zardes, wood and all the wing options that might not be first stringers

If our young guys get older in a hurry (stupid term yes, meaning if they get minutes on pro teams in pro leagues)

then we will have retooled ASAP and suddenly guys like Nagbe are the older heads ROFL omg i just giggled

actually look at that highlight (rem I love pulisic) i'm not too pleased with how he took that shot, it has to be first time, unless he was being cut off by a defender. That was an unnecessary touch imo

With the way Green, Pulisic, and Zelalem are developing this year. It makes me giddy to think about the future of our midfield with them. Add in Nagbe on the Right side. That is some good technical football in our future.

Future is coming a lot sooner.

About to start another thread discussing player development at major clubs.

Keep it up Pulisic! You have to think Herzog may consider him for the U23 team?

While I'm happy for the kid and glad to see he's working his way towards the first team we fans need to be realistic regarding where he is in his development and station within both his club & the US.
Pulisic was with his clubs U-19's last year. I would expect that he is advanced to their reserve team and potentially spot appearances (on the bench) for the first team this spring. If all goes well he could potentially join the 1st team in the fall for the 2016-17 season. I would expect that most of his minutes would come in cup matches and a few sub appearances. Realistically he wont get significant opportunities until the 17-18 season unless he's loaned out to a lower level team in the Bundas or Bundas II.

Pulisic, Zelalem, CCV and our other top prospects are about two years away from making their national team debuts (give or take a year).

According to tweets I have seen, he is now fully transferred to the First Team,

I think we're going to be a really good team in 2022. 2018 will just be a bit too soon though and I think we'll be just as bad as we are now.

I will also agree with this too! We overrate our team way too much lol lets just lower the expectations until we get close to 2018....we don't know what will happen between now and 2018
