What players? Please give me names based on factual evidence?

Landon won't lie or make up things. Why would he stir the pot by naming names that is just stupid. Don't worry when his book comes out those names will be revealed and i'm almost certain is mostly the German American players i'm willing to bet on that.

The same Jones that has an American flag tattooed on his body? That Jermaine Jones?

Son, you're an idiot. There's no two ways around this.

Sooo if i i get a tattoo of the Italian country in my body does that make me Italian cause i have a buddy that has that and he has zero ties to Italy just likes the shape of the booth i guess.

This might be the most confusing, error-riddled post you've ever made. It's like it was written by a mental patient.

Do you understand how the English language works, kid?

Still zero factual evidence. Landon said ONE player told him he didn't identify as American. One player, bud.

Yet again not a picture of a nations flag. People always get dumb tattoos. Putting a flag on your body is not something to take lightly.

I sure as hell haven't met anyone with tha USA flag on their body just because they thought it looked cool. And if I did I would tell that person to fuck off.

Jones and Boyd are Americans get that through your skull.

No he said that ONE specifically said wasn't American but that he played for usa just to play in a WC.. That was just ONE specific example. But he said others told him they don't feel American he was just stating ONE specific example of a player choosing us just to play in a WC. But there are a good number of players that don't feel and are not Americans i just hope those players come out and say it but their Cowards and wont do it. No need for Landon to say those names. Their freaking grown men's they are the ones who should come out.

Smh, you are such a liar. I'm pretty sure you are this 'buddy' with the Italy tattoo on your body. Why not admit you are wrong instead of bringing up these off the wall comments to make your point look even more invalid? They are American any way you cut it, they have a parent that served their damn country for Heaven sakes, it does not get any more American than that. You are being disrespectful to all the troops who have had children off these shores because of where they were stationed at the time. I doubt you have ever served, so please do not be ignorant and question their identity to this country. Until you have heard it from them personally then you cannot question their loyalty to this country and our national team.

I still don't believe it! This has got to be a pretty touchy subject How many guys are going to come out and say face to face I just want to go to the WC I don't really identify with America. Sounds like sour grapes from LD. Fact is we were not there so none of us know what was really said. Someone probably said they were not used to the US yet or were trying to feel more American etc. I doubt LD quoted them word for word.
It should not matter how they feel to be honest. They are Americans and no matter how they feel or anyone feels about them, it's there right to play for our national team. I know for a fact you never served this country or you would not have such a narrow worldview. Please stop trying to scapegoat all our dual-nationals, it's very ignorant.

You guys do realize some of those players have no relationship with their father's in some cases never grew up with them. So how can they identify as Americans if they don't know nothing about America. Landon came out with his opinions after wambach comments . Some here are so ignorant that they don't wanna believe it but just let it go who cares if they don't feel American that's the way they feel and no one could ever changed who they are.

You do realize that Landon is a bitter, arrogant, and jealous person. He is all about himself, thinks he is God's gift to the national team, and is a cancer in the locker room.

So I am pretty sure most players especially the dual-nationals did not develop a close relationship with him and would not tell him such information like 'I do not identify with America and I am just here because I want to be in the World Cup' knowing how he is that would be the end of their national team because Donovan never held anything in for anyone.

You think he would withhold that from the federation and then come out after his retirement and tell all? Hell no, he would rat them at first opportunity he got. You are being ridiculous and are grabbing at straws like always.

Very few of those players grew up without their fathers in their life. Most, if not all have their fathers in their life, kept up with them through the years, or now have a relationship with them. So you are wrong again.

Landon doesn't get bitter or mad he is in peace and happy right now, yes of course he was upset he didn't make the WC but so were the other remaining players. We know he is our greatest player ever, and i know for a fact he would not make up stories why would he say that he was just clearly saying what he was told in the Locker room. I mean some of our players could barely speak English let alone read or write it but yet Supposedly their as much American as say Dempsey, Bradley, Howard etc.... Clearly they don't identify themselves American's because their proud where their from they are not frauds. And i Salute those players when they say they don't feel American because they shouldn't.

Are we Alston droning on about this Donovan business?

Let's move on from it. It does no good to linger on the past.

Really whatabout guys like Johansson, Jozy, Davis, Cameron ect were much mpre out of shape than Landon and still got called i mean freaking Jozy got a hamstring injury and Joihansson was already injured going into the WC that means they weren't fit. Yeah and where is green at he can't even make the bench for Bayern the reason he played is caused they qualified already and so did other teen players. And he did not even do that well with bayern.

Are you seriously trying to make that claim?????? Landon showed up to a March friendly with a massive BEER BELLY. He publicly said he felt too old to train at 100%. And this was after having skipped a lot of NT games and quitting soccer for several months. All of those other guys you listed wanted to be there way more than Landon did and always bust their asses off in training.

I a willing to bet that every player on the USNT has better written English than you do.

That is a good question. Why is he constantly trying to stir the pot? Is it because he is still bitter and angry about getting cut?

Since then, he has demonstrated a complete and utter lack of professionalism. What a contrast between him and Bocanegra. If Donovan only had the drive of some of these other guys, imagine the player he could have become. He comes off more and more as a whiny little prick with a sense of entitlement.

Being that the closest Donovan is to a "foreign" player is Omar Gonzalez, and most of those German American's or European American's probably aren't very friendly with Donovan, I'm going to guess it was Omar Gonzalez that said that to Donovan (if in fact one actually did say that...which I'm skeptical of in the first place).

I love how you say JK is people's "Daddy" when they defend him with facts, yet you say stuff like "I know LD wouldn't lie, etc" Oh the Irony (which I'm 100% sure is lost on you).

Ever think that perhaps some people might not feel american simply because some (like you) don't accept them (despite what their parents have done for YOU) as American's. They feel rejected, and it has nothing to do with them being proud to play for America!

I know you can't comprehend that line of thinking.
