Interesting stuff coming out today.

Toronto has acquired GK Clint Irwin from Colorado. Which would leave a spot open for Tim Howard. Is Howard really coming back? Is he tired of the Everton/EPL fan base?

Tim had a good game against City on Wednesday, but by and large this season, he has been poor. I want to see Joel get a run in goal, and many other Everton supporters do as well. If we can get any money for him, so be it.

As a USMNT fan, this doesn't really bother me. Tim is in the twilight of his career, so I don't see a move back to MLS being a big deal. We've got other young guys ready to step up.

Joel is an average GK at best. Everton fans will rue it when Tim leaves.

But you are correct. Tim is slowly declining.

Joel hasn't been given a lengthy run in goal. He has looked pretty good in the cup games he's played this season.

Well its one thing playing a few matches here and there and its another being the starter every game. Howard has declined still a solid EPL keeper but no as good as he used to be.

Lol. Chicago trades Shipp to Montreal. That franchise continues to suck since the Bradley days.

Also hearing the Chicago Sting are coming back to NASL and looking to build a stadium in Chicago.

The Fire could be screwed.

Could be.

The whole Sting movement is a reaction to the mismanagement of the Fire this decade. Hearing ex-Fire GM Peter Wilt and ex-Fire coach and all around legend Frank Klopas to be involved as well...

This silly season stuff should take an extra step up as I think we see the club sign an expensive player with all the available money. Glad others find it so funny, for me it's beyond annoying.

If the Sting return t would be nice to see a proper yellow jersey again now that the Crew have abandoned their yellow kit for whatever this is

I think the Fire, with all their additional money are going to make a run at signing Jones. If not for a coin toss he would already have been a Fire player. This is the only thing I can think of that would possibly work for the Fire & Jones.

We would love him in Chicago he was born there... But the insiders say a #10 which isn't Jones at all. Bring on the godfather I'm all for it.

I would be thrilled if it wasn't for Jones and Onalfo.

It'll be nice to see team Mexico calling in MLS guys. That will help stem the perspective of MLS's qualities. The more starters on other good national teams that play in MLS the better the rep of MLS will get.
