Yes it has. I have seen that happen plenty in the EPL over the years. Try harder

yeah.. no it hasn't Bubs. I would like your MLS players to try harder during this game. Or you could try to find a video of 2 EPL goal keepers making 2 mistakes like that with a mental blunder sandwiched in between for another goal all in 1 game. I'll be waiting.

Kawarsey isn't American. So.?.?

Very true it was mostly a joke because I've seen that so many times. But i will say I think MLS goalkeepers are severely overrated by Americans. Don't get me wrong there are good keepers in the league and particularly good shot stoppers but very often MLS goalies lack the smarts, positioning, and, dominance off the line that many other top level keepers have all the while being more mistake prone. As a disclaimer I watch a good amount of both MLS and European soccer and am big fans of both.

Also I know this probably isn't the time or thread for this and this is not meant to be a personal attack on you but I used to look forward to your posts because they were full of facts, info and reasonable expectations for American soccer. However, the last year and a half maybe it seems like you're account has turned into an overly sarcastic and "smarter than you" MLS PR rep. A little constructive criticism is a good thing every once in a while.

Probably would have gotten called for a face mask. Standard Browns.

On another note, this Finlay guy intrigues me. Rare to see someone w decent speed take people on. USMNT needs that.

Shots fired.

Don't be mad MLS isn't good, 2tone. It has improved greatly and is trending up quickly. 50% of the time I check this site because of the info you usually post and I agree with 99% of the stuff you say. If you have a twitter and posted this stuff then I probably wouldn't come on. But if you actually think MLS is quality soccer then idk anymore. I get defending your stance but Don Garber wouldn't even say some of the things you say.

Just pointing out the flaw in your post.

Just giving my opinions.

Constructive criticism is not scynism about the league. If you are a person looking to give constructive criticism about the league, then give those opinions in a well constructed argument. Not as snide bit part remarks or anecdotes from the peanut gallery. Because I will give smart ass type responses back.

I am under no delusion that MLS is as good as top leagues. Anyone who has read the things I write should know that. But I am also going to defend the league when ridiculous comments or diatribes are spewed forth without any type of educated arguments.

Really what have I said? I have said that most teams could compete in the Championship or Eredivisie.

While saying that a few teams could compete with the lower tiered premier league teams. That's not a ridiculous opinion, considering my opinion has been verified by many euro players that have come over and stated the same thing.

But hey I really don't know because I personally have never played in any of those leagues. I can only take what other players have said about the leagues at face value, and plenty have stated MLS isn't that far off from the premier league or Bundesliga.

Who has said it's not far off? Drogba said it's hard because of travel. Not quality of play. So enlighten me with a link of a non US player. Jozy and MB couldn't handle Europe so of course they would say that. And no player is going to say "no MLS sucks" when asked by a reporter.

No MLS team could compete in the EPL. Aston Villa would win the MLS every year by a long shot. Pick any 3 MLS teams and place them in England and they would be in the Championship the next season. And they wouldn't be promoted the next. Not a knock on MLS. The MLS is getting there though, but it doesn't take much to turn on a game and see for yourself it's not close to that level yet.
