HUGE third goal. Could've been called off by the ref but he let it slide

How and why ? The goalie bobbled the ball so the play was live. It would of been a huge robbed had he called it off. Anyways big win by Portland would love to see a Columbus vs Portland Final. if that were to happen where would the final be since they both finished with the same points ?

Ohh alright. They got the head to head, would of prefered Portland but oh well.. Well that's if they both make it plenty of soccer left both can be out still. I really want Columbus crew to update their stadium looks to old and plain.

Two good games,...poor game management by the Redbulls coughing up a very loose late second goal...really naive defending letting the C-bus attacker drive so deep and waltz into the box...young team mistake, mentally shutting down...

Another critical lapse by Dallas on Portland's killer third goal. Portland can really apply a ton of physical box pressure on crosses on dead balls... Dallas Keeper is young...definitely not a commanding presence in his box...two bundled in goals...noticeable advantage for Portland. I do think Dallas is capable of hanging 2-3 goals on Portland at home, but Dallas D looks shakey.

I'm hoping to see a C-Bus/Dallas final.

I am really enjoying watching Nagbe, he seems to be growing and growing in front of our eyes and I'm really excited to see more and more of him with the Nats.

Dolce, it's like the letter to Riquelme from the river fan. They hated and loved him. Of course Nagbe is not on Riquelmes level but i too would enjoy watching a rival team for a certain player. Well not the team id be enjoying but player, like Blanco with Mexico.

So excited by the fact that the final could be in Columbus. Its an hour away from me and I have been to the last two games against Vancouver and NYRB and I will absolutely be there if they host the final. The goal 10 seconds into the game was right in front of us, the place went crazy. Talking about renovating the stadium, the seats that I was in are just bleachers they added behind that goal for that game, so yeah it could use a little renovation.

Nagbe is not as good as Riquelme, so he shouldn't be enough to get you to root for your rival, that's the point. Riquelme was one of the most exciting players of all time to watch. Maybe one in one thousand River fans would root for Boca for that reason but you're not going to see any do the same for Nicolas Lodeiro.

Watch the replay, no fault for Borchers on the goal itself but watch Gonzalez after making the first save...when a Timbers player (didn't see who) turns his back then "falls" into Gonzalez, it's clear obstruction with no attempt to play for the ball and should have been called a foul.

Shameful reffing for the most part, but that's been the case with Dallas all season...we get called for just about every little thing but when our players are kicked and upended all over the pitch it's hardly called.

No complaints on the 2nd goal, sloppy defending and/or poor clearance set the table, but that was a screamer and I doubt many if any goalkeepers around the world could have saved it.

My predictions for the second legs:

C-bus 1 Redbulls 2: C-bus wins the series and hosts the final.

Portland 1 Dallas 1: Portland wins series.
