I'm a Galaxy fan, but I'm almost hoping that Seattle will finally beat us in the playoffs. Poor bastards. But I guess it doesn't matter any more since they're not even the 2nd best team in the West like they have been for so many of the last several years.

. . . But the Galaxy usually aren't dominant during the regular season and yet they always seem to turn it up in the playoffs.

My wild card predictions:

Wednesday:

NE v DC: NE 2 DC 1. Davies and Rowe as the goal scorers.

SEA v LA: SEA 2 LA 1 after over time. Goal scorers: Deuce, Oba.

Thursday:

MON v TOR: MON 3 TOR 2 after overtime: Goal scorers: Drogba, Piatti x 2.

POR v KC: POR 3 KC 1. Goal scorers: Nagbe, Adi, Valeri

Can't wait these are some really good match ups.

I was critical of the move to a 12 team playoff system when it was announced. I thought it would devalue the playoffs but these first round matchups are all exciting.

-DC is a dead team walking they are so done imo NE can only lose this and blame themselves if so.
-Seattle has to win just has to else Sigi is surely out they are at home and playing a galaxy with alot of questions.
-Portland and KC is such a flip of a coin. During regular season Portland wasnt efficient at home. Gotta wonder if that will carry or this new hot look will make them take a step closer to glory
-Montreal is all drogba. Toronto is all Giovinco. Montreal is the more complete team playing at home in which will prob sold out or close to that stadium. Toronto doesnt know meaning of defense. Anyways Drogba vs Giovinco regardless

DC 1 - NE 3
Portland 2 - KC 1
Impact 3 - Toronto 1
Seattle 1 - LA 0

Why is Charlie Davies not starting? My biggest issue withHeaps is that he tinkers way to much with the strikers.

For some reasons most mls playoff games are empty not sure why. Something has to be done about that. Also @ skangles are you at the game ?
