Some tasty wild card games. Can my Sounders finally vanquish their demons and beat LA in the post season? Can't wait.

Last I heard was he will get his citizenship in the fall of 2016. And yes he wants to play for the USMNT.

as a neutral LA is in trouble surely Sounders have to get it done now.
Portland is very hot form atm and tough tough game for sporting the only thing going their way is that portland hasnt been that dominant at home this season. Could be different story come playoff match

Sounders are going to beat LA.

LA defense is still crap and their midfield-forward chemistry is completely out of sync.

Dos Santos is a spotty performer and Gerrard was a poor DP pick up...he's aged 5 years in the few months with LA...shoehorning him into midfield based on reputation is a major mistake.

Yeah, I'm an angry poster, my beloved Quakes are on the outside looking in.

Dos Santos has always been overrated. He has had good game every now and again, but has never been consistently good. There is a reason Villrreal was willing to sell him.

Carlos Vela is also on decline.

What was Dwyers status and inclinations of recent?

Also, who do we think is better, Dwyer or Wood?

@chrisBP- better than apathetic. Too bad relegation isn't around, my Fire and the Rapids need to have organizational re-thinks.

Good luck to all, and yes, Sporting KC choked that midweek game vs the Rapids. They would've been #2 seed and gotten the bye etc. well- good luck to all teams but LA, DC, NE. I'm personally rooting for a Columbus v Dallas final.

I like Dwyers tenacity. But he won't get US citizenship until 2018. By then the US could have many talented FWDs playing well: Wood, Morris, Siebatcheu, Novakovich, Rubin, Agudelo, Gooch..... Personally if Dwyer was a US citizen right now, I would take him over Altidore.

Off topic, but I was watching some of the goals from this past weekend and looking at the crowd and can only salivate at how good and well supported this league will be in another 20 years. If they continue to raise the salary cap to keep players and bring interest from overseas. This league could easily be one of the top 10 leagues in the world in that time. Definitely be the best league in our region, which I think they may be 5-10 years away from accomplishing that. Just need to get every club to have a their own stadium. Seattle will be the toughest stadium to get though.

League average attendance: 21,574. Average attendance last year 19,151. Up over 2000. Can only imagine what the league average attendance will be like when Atlanta enters in 2017.

That average league attendance puts MLS right under Italian Serie A which was at 22,213.
