Anyone have any actual write ups on the kid? Nice he's getting goals regardless of the quality of them, not easy getting goals at the top level (Jozy).

I enjoy seeing all of these new names popping up. Too bad Herzog didn't bring him in but honestly it's doubtful that he would have been released.

I'm guessing this is the article that kicked off this thread but it's worth checking out.

Both clips really don't show that much about the kid besides big decent pace and has a bit of knowledge on position. Good movement on the psg goal. Always welcome another striker to the crop. But I'm more excited about maki tall at the moment. Let's see if this kid can keep producing.

After watching the clips I have to agree that they did not show much of the kids ability. 2 of the 3 goals IMO were benefited by poor performances by the Keepers (the flick-on and the free kick). Still worth consideration for the U-23's but cannot (from these highlights) him jumping to the full national team.
While many do not care for our current striker pool, and to an extent I can understand; there is plenty of young talent within the pool that with a little more experience will be ready to contribute.....
Dempsey - 32 (Heading towards retirement)
Wondolowski - 32 (Heading towards retirement)
Wooten - 26 Just now getting a chance due to good club performances
Jozy - 25 (2nd behind Dempsey in Goals per game among active active players 1in3)
Johannsson - 24 heading into prime (if he can remain healthy)
Zardes - 24 heading into prime
Boyd - 24 heading into prime (if he can get healthy)
Agudelo - 22 Talented but needs to become consistent
Kiesewetter - 22 Performing well w/ the U-23s
Morris - 21 Not even a professional yet, but showing well
Rubin - 19 Showed well w/ U-20s and will have a chance w/ the U-23s
Tall - 19 showed well until his injury w/ U-20s, should get a chance w/ U-23s

This is a better listing of potential strikers than we've had for a LONG TIME.

Good point, time to watch Stade Reims League 1 matches.

Could be a poacher with finesse... Great touch on the goal where the ball was going in slow

Get him in a camp - youth or senior. See what he can do. He appears to be excited about playing for the US. On his twitter he's retweeting all this stuff about him repping the U.S.

Always willing to get another young FWD on board.

Anybody we can get with pace and some skill would be useful. We are extremely slow outside of Yedlin, and put no pressure on opposing teams with one on one ability. It's maddening watching how old and slow the team is. If we aren't going to have great skill, which we don't, then at least we need to be an athletic team. Right now, we have the worst of both worlds.

I think this guy will be called sooner rather than later. The USMNT can't keep on hoping Altidore will get better.

Seibatcheu looks to have those hold up the ball qualities to bring more players into the game. He also has pace to stretch defenses.

I agree:

My forwards to be called up:

Johannsson, Siebatcheu, Bjorn Johnson, Wooten

Just to make a statement to the old veterans my line up for the next WC qualifier should be.....

--- Morris -- Johansson - Wood --

--- Nagbe - Feilhaber (C) -- Green -

Fabian --- Brooks - Miazga - Yedlin -

---------- Horvath ----------

A bit extreme, but fairly close to what should be deployed....
----Morris----Johannsson------Wood-----
-----Nagbe------------Bradley--------
-------------Williams---------------
-Fabian--Besler-----Cameron----Yedlin---
-------------Guzan-----------------

Bench: Brooks, Morales, Shea, Chandler, Finlay, Wooten, Alvarado, Howard

@ Dave

This is the line up that we should've seen last night. I would've have changed out nagbe for Nguyen

I prefer Nagbe for his speed & his potential for being a longer term option. Additionally I think he'd be better at the point of a diamond 4 man midfield or a 3 man midfield like:

--Zardes---Johannsson---Wood
----------Nguyen---------
---Williams----------Bradley--
or
----Johannsson-----Wood----
----------Nguyen---------
-Fabian-------------Bradley-
----------Williams----------
