Last time I heard he was loaned to Olhanense in the Primeira Liga? I don't think he has seen time there. Anyone now?

No idea where he is.

I saw him play in a few games for the US U20 team in 2010 and 2011. He was smart and you can tell he was well coached.

BUT.. the kid had no athleticism. Now, I agree with some criticism that American soccer puts too much emphasis on athletic ability as opposed to technical ability but a fair amount of athleticism is necessary and I don't think Zahavi has the minimum amount.

I know he never filed for his one-time switch to play forthe USA (previously played for Portugal's U17 team) and was considering switch to Israel.

If Israel is still interested, he should play for them. He doesn't have a future with the US.
