ADIDAS has just renewed their deal with MLS. In 2010 they signed an 8 year deal worth $200 million ($25 mill a season). That deal expires next year. The new deal is for $700 million over 6 seasons (over $115 million a season). Thats a huge increase almost 5x) and in theory give each team an extra $3 million a season from this deal alone ($25 mil split for 22 teams is just over $1, 115 split between 28 teams is just under 4).
A huge sign of the growth in MLS. Hopefully teams are forced to invest this extra money and increase the roster size where teams have 20-25 good players so we can start beating MX when we play CONCACAF League matches

MLS refs are a joke tbh I love MLS but sometimes its insane the mistake
Yeah?? You want an insane mistake???
Well this one went through the CR and the VAR to break a match in the 11th minute on a non-foul being called a red: https://www.mlssoccer.com/mls-disciplinary-su...
Unbefuckinglievable...
If this isn't bad enough by itself, it's the perfect formula for match-fixing in the VAR era.
As it stands, I'm looking forward to watching some playoffs, but wow, I don't know how many more of these I can take.
