Well thought it was time to start this thread. Will this Finally Freaking be the Damm year an MLS Club wins it!!!! Seems like we've been saying this is year after year. I think this is the Best chance so far we got. 5 Really good teams but personally i think LA Galaxy, America, Tigres should be the favorites to win it. Well DC got a huge late win at Panama, and Seattle is losing and if they do lose tonight they will be out most likely, and Galaxy is rolling with a mostly Reserve Squad cant wait to see what they can do with their Full squad if they had played last night with them i think LA would of won like 8 or 9-0. And on another note Mexican Clubs have been Struggling and yes i give them a small pass because their season just started and their not in Full Fitness yet.

Good win by Seattle. Could have been a bigger shoreline for the Sounders.

Good and bad news with this weeks games.

Good news- Mexico struggled badly. Santos Laguna lost to Saprissa and will now have to win at home and take away goals/goal differntial to advance. Tigres tied Heredino. Still in driver seat to advance but gives the Costa Rican team hope. Big result was Quetaro losing to Panama side San Fransisco. SF has home and home with a Belize team and if they win both matches they are in and Quetaro is out.

On the down side Seatlle lost to Olimpia which opens the door widely for Vancouver to come in and win the group.

If I were predicting the 8 group winners at this point Id guess the following:

Saprissa, Tigres, San Fransisco, Galaxy, America, Vancouver, RSL, DCU.

Yeah I have a feeling Seattle won't peogress. Vancouver is the better team right now anyway.

Round 1 starts tonight.

America vs Sounders & DCU vs Queetaro.

Will be shocked if Seattle gets a point. America has been crushing it in MX thus far while this is Seatlle's 1st competitive match since the playoffs in the fall.

I like DC's chances more as Queretaro has struggled and arent very good this year. We need 1 MLS team to make the semis, hope for 2 but have to get 1 through.

This Acosta kid from Boca Juniors is nice. Nice find for DC.

Good half from DC. Still no cutting edge up front though. They've had some decent chances too.

I hope this isn't DC's roster to start the season or else they are going to be struggling to make the playoffs. I know a few key players are injured but they have no bench at this point.

Tigers will take it. Their squad is fantastic and the home games are up to notch vs any crowd in the world.
