My favorite part of the admsghs ridiculous argument is he would take Mori in a second but we only have Fab, Chandler, Brooks, Jones, Zelalam because they werent good enough for Germany.

They had a green card or permit i believe similar to Darlington Nagbe, freddy adu something like that... It was reported a few years ago they both were eligible to represent USA under some circumstances.. But Ramiro Funes Mori defender for Champion River plate decline because Tata Martino said he wants him and will be a big part of the team in the future, he called him our next star replacement for Pablo Zabaleta / and or Martin Demichellis or anywhere in our defense....

It was a false report. Neither were never able to rep the USMNT. A. A green card does not make you eligible to rep the USMNT. You have to be a citizen. B. Neither were residents. You have to have residency for 5 years in the US in order to become a citizen. Zelalem dads had residency hence why both became US citizens.

both David Luiz and thiago silva had big transfer fees but they were more proven. How much did your favorite Liverpool pay for lovren?

Proven players at top clubs. Lovren was proven at topish clubs, and we still overpaid at 20mil which was at the time same age as Funes Mori, along with being a top CB at Lyon and top CB at Southampton and statistically one of the best in the PL.....then of course plays poorly for six months for us but that's not the discussion. Big difference btw the two and still only cost 20mil.

I'm in agreement its over paying but the market is what it can be sometimes. In a way, defenders should be able to get those kinds of fees considering what attackers go for. Good defenders play every game.
He won't go for 30 mil if that's the talk although teams have been known to get crazy.

I know defenders can go for crazy fees but with the market the way it is, anything over 15 mil for him is crazy fanboy talk. 8-12 is more likely and that's on the higher end.

Like I said above....8-12 and that's on the high end. Rumored fee is 5.5 for Everton.
