Hope he does well, but either way I have always been impressed with this kid everytime I've seen him play with the u-17's.

This kid is ridiculous. He has talent, a frame that hopefully he'll build some muscle into. And nuts, lots of nuts, he's fearless... against 17 year old who are smaller than him

I'm starting to believe that you guys are just creating threads with your own names to fool us into thinking that you're a promising national team prospect.

Out of no where Man U announce the signing of Olosunde today. He is playing with the u18s today as well. BIG move.

Olosunde has nothing but up side. He's tall, great attacking skills going forward, and can get back and defend.

Surprised Man U didn't sign Sabbi or Taitague when they trialed.. Tho Nick would have to wait until 18. So still possible.

There was a report last week (?) regarding Man U being one of the leading clubs going after Hyndmann and now they've signed Olosunde. Does this mean that they aren't going after Hyndmann now, or is Man U stocking up on US players as a marketing move hoping one will pay off?

Butt, quoted on the club's official website, said: "He's one that's been ongoing for a while. With the clearance it took him a while but we've got him.

"He's a good player, a nice lad and a really good athlete. Hopefully we'll see a lot of him in the coming years because he's someone we're really excited about."

You are all going to think I'm weird, but I think Olosunde is our best young prospect....

I don't think I've seen anyone trying to do the fantom dribble aside from Nguyen, and M.O. looks more fluid than he does.

Also that last touch with the outside of his foot... drools....

Any indication where Man U has been using Matthew? I know he can play a number of positions, but where is he getting most of his playing time at.... RB, CB or RM?

that video unless it's poorly edited with a mirror reflection etc, looks like he was on the left flank... at leftback? either that or a corner that went awry and he wound up there.

Being absolutely truthful, the way he pivots, his balance, his touch... I wouldn't mind if he made his way into midfield, a yaya toure like presence. That is, before he became a CAM in his mind.

Especially if Olosunde grows more physically.

I wouldn't mind him as a right back. But I honestly think he can potentially provide incredible presence in midfield. Hopefully Xuxu can fill the RB by then. HAHA, yes I know too soon with that guy.

I saw the full u-18 highlight reel of that game against Newcastle and he played leftback for 78 mins. I think United see him as someone who can play anywhere across the backline.
