Cheering for Costa Rica on this one would rather have them in the knockout stages than Canada.. They are am opponent that can knock off Mexico..

Relax...Canada couldn't score in a brothel with Warren Buffets Credit Card! (Although if they win 2-0 they knock Costa Rica out of the Gold Cup)

Indeed; considering the source I'm also assuming the "clear PK" for the El Salvador 3m springboard team was nothing.

Well looks like USA women soccer got 2 pk calls in the exact same play... On the line is part of the box so is a PK.

Costa Rica head to the other side of the bracket. They've looked poor but they still have a lot of talented players and could wake up I suppose.

A T&T win or draw tomorrow and we'll have Costa Rica vs Mexico in the quarterfinals.

So USA plays first then the night game is Jamaica, Haiti ??? Wow that stadium will be absolutely empty for the last game. That is if El Salvador miraculously qualifies they will have at least 80% of the fans in Baltimore. Don't think USA can sell it out couldn't do it at Gillette.

Funny how the draw completely flipped due to Costa Rica and Honduras struggling.

USA path to finals is now El Salvador, Guatemala, or Cuba, and then Haiti or Jamaica.
Mexico path to finals is now Panama/CR and then the other or T&T.

3 of the top 4 teams, and arguably 4 of the top 5 will all be in Mexico's half now. (Im not counting Jamaica, for all there love they barely beat Canada and barely beat El Salvador. Yes a wins a wins but lets not go annoiting them as up and comers yet

I agree that Jamaica have had good results but haven't looked convincing. That said they scare me a lot more than T&T. We will see how T&T does against Mexico tonight. My guess is they will struggle.

So another player Defected from Cuba. I'm guessing their down to 13 players i think. Also another 4 athletes defected in the Pan American games in Canada. Also Didn't a law just passed that they will be treated as illegal immigrants now and be deported.

In the event Cuba beats Guatemala tonight we would play them on Saturday. Weren't a few other players struggling to get their visa to enter the US? Seriously how many players do they have available tonight 17 or 18?
