US Starting 11

Guzan; Evans, Gonzalez, Ream, Garza; Zusi, Bradley, Diskerud; Dempsey; Johannsson, Altidore

7 Changes lineup in a 4-3-1-2 Bradley at the 6 Dempsey at the 10. Garza cap tied a lineup I can say I wasnt expecting. Bradley Dempsey Altidore and Guzan the only 4 players to start again.

Oh man you've got to feel Penedo's pain on that one. He made a hell of a PK save only for Najar to put in the rebound.

Fiercely contested, played like it was a knockout round match. Romell Quioto=Honduran Wondo.

I really want to like this Canadian side. It would be great if they could get their program to the point that they are regularly qualifying for the hex. I like Larin and Akindele in the MLS but watching them play as a national team is like watching paint dry.

Canada falls 1-0 in the 90th minute they were outplayed by Jamaica almost got a draw. Canada has to get a win since a tie will not be enough to advance as one of the two best third place teams. Canada has been outplayed by Jamaica and El Salvador they have to play much better to have any hope of advancing.

Ahh love it Jamaica won it.. Canada is an extreme over rated team.. They shouldn't even have MLS clubs..

The interesting dynamic is that the next Group B games will be played in Toronto. Canada is going to have a huge home field advantage. I think that would have been a difference maker against El Salvador or Jamaica but I'm not sure that it will be enough to stop Costa Rica.

Stop being so condescending towards Canada! There are plenty of countries and people who feel this way about USA and MLS.

If it ends 0-0 between El Salvador and Codta Rica, Canada has an opportunity to knock out Costa Rica in Toronto, and claim a spot into the next round.

Wow, more stoppage time heroics. I guess that's the theme today in the Gold Cup.

And Canada is still alive. Underlying theme so far in the Gold Cup is that there are no easy teams unless you are Cuba. I think T&T will give Mexico problems.
