It's just a bunch of fat mexican nerds who can never do shit 1 vs 1. Wish I was there, I would beat the shit out of all of them by myself.

No shame in missing a mid-season Friendly. If MLS really wanted to cash in on a game like this they should adjust the start of their schedules to allow MLS teams a chance in the CCL. The Galaxy vs America would be amazing in the CCL, in July it's just a joke.

Mexico wisely took their foot off the gas. No need to risk pissing Cuba off into hard fouls.

Wonder how many players will be left in Cuba's roster by their final game because most likely more will defect now.

I know this is our region tournament and guest teams usually bring their U-23 squad or B squads but we should really do what Copa America does and invite 2 guest teams each cycle. I know we have the number of teams to field 12 but we don't have the quality. I would rather a B Colombia or B Japan than a Cuba or similar team.

I respectfully disagree, if it's a continental championship, I believe should be the teams from that region contesting it. I could see doing something though like eliminating the Gold Cup the year before the World Cup and making the expanded Copa America a regular quadrennial event from 2016 with 16 teams, 8 from Concacaf and 8 from Conmebol.

I just feel we don't have the depth as a region. It is usually a 2 or 3 horse race always. A Brazil u-23 or B squad is unfortunately better than or on par with most of the senior sides in this competition.

I'm really happy with our Gold Cup draw this year. I love that we have much tougher group stage games than usual and none of the three games is a gimme.

Panama and Honduras are really going at it right now with Panama leading 1-0.

Honduras had some good chances. Why doesn't Honduras play murderball with Panama like they do with everyone else?

Its been a pretty close game a good amount of chances some really good saves by the goalkeepers. Panama really unfortunate to not have a penalty on a pretty clear foul in the box by Honduras if Panama gets the penalty might have been game over for Honduras. If results hold Honduras will be in a must win match against Haiti and if they win will likely play Mexico in a tough quarterfinal match up for mexico.

Honduras can really trouble Mexico, even if Mexico is well aware of their quality from their recent Friendly. That's a game with upset potential should it happen.
