Right; not excusing the performance, which was not acceptable by any stretch, but we scored twice.

Missed the first half...

Johannsson looked great in the second half. Can't believe dempsey mistimed his jump, out of anyone on the pitch he's the one guy with the best chance to head in Johannsson chip.

Really is sad that even against teams like Haiti we can't dominate possession. Our technical ability lacks to a great degree and it's not JKs fault it's the fault of our ability to develop players.

Anyways once again, a win is a win vs concacaf. It's not uncommon to play against these teams and have a difficult time.

How was Jozy the first half? Still look out of form?

Lmao so funny we played horrible vs Honduras yet most fans said who cares we got the job done 3 pts. Now we play vs a better team and fans are talking smack SMH!!! Would not mind if the same back for starts the next game specially Omar and Ream they look better at CB than Brooks, Alvarado.. VS Panama I wanna see Fabian, Ream, Gonzo, Yedlin in the backline that's the best defense we have honestly... Brooks and Alvarado looked very shaky...

Actually the U.S. had 64% possession, but lacked possession with a purpose.

Oh boy, did he. Not every minute, but he missed several opportunities that would have ended in a meaningful shot for him or his potential passing target. One just seemed to roll over his foot.

Look on the bright side. ArJo's goal should have counted. We should have won 2-0. Clean sheet and all. Sure we all out have liked a better game but they did what they had to do. Next game!

Oh, also, I'm going to continue my stand that it's not clear who the best 2 CBs are this year, and throwing yourself in any one of their camps is kinda bratty. I know everyone wants to pick a favorite, but just relax. We have like 6 CBs of roughly the same quality right now.

I would have to say omar and Besler still... maybe the ream and omar looked decent but ream had a few lapses. Im liking Gonzo so far.

Positive: ArJo. I thought he had one of his best games in recent time.

Missed the game. Lots of tears and fears out here. 3 points, experimental formation and backline. Haiti as expected played tough. Shutout with Omar on the field. Many positives. Apparently Jozy was crap.

I also hope Clint gets a few more and passes Landon the baby. Good comment dunlopp. Good for Clint to back up Jurgens decision to make him one of the guys who never comes out of the game.

Missed the game as well. Went to a Dodgers game.

The biggest thing I take away from this is I don't remember a US team getting wins when it has an off game like they did against Honduras. To me that's a new level that we've never had before.

My complaint is the same as against Honduras where we had 11 players out there who really didn't look like they knew each other very well... other teams pass and move and have an idea but we make so many bad passes and mistimed runs it's really quite remarkable. Makes me wonder what they do at practices.

It's great to win again, driver seat for the group and can continue to rotate players which is a positive but it's a concern to me how disjointed the team looks in possession.

Maybe now people will stop saying Evans is a better option than chandler. That was a terrible lineup choice and it showed. Hopefully he goes back to our best players
