So Freddy after being relegated to the KuPs reserve team decided to opt out of his contract and look for opportunities elsewhere.

There in lies the problem with Adu. He is part of the entitled generation. Expects things to just be given to them. Not willing to work hard to better their situation. Instead of working hard in practices and playing his butt off and moving back up to the first team, he just decides to leave and try to find opportunities elsewhere. No work ethic.

I am 100% on board with this guy NEVER amounting to anything.

God I can't wait for that 30 for 30, as someone mentioned several months ago. If Adu were smart he'd produce his own documentary.

I saw he was playing on their reserve team. The sad part is I think a lot of his entitlement issues are the US and ESPN. Pardon the Interuption actually took the time last week (either thursday or friday) and asked if hed ever get capped by USA again. They showed highlights of a free kick goal he scored playing for KUPS reserves. Why give him any mention. Why not let him work his way up. Its like they constantly want to parade him through the lime light.

Yes Adu needs some responsibility but its almost like keeping a fully stocked mini bar around a recovering alcoholic. Stop setting him up to fail and then being surprised that he fails.

I have no idea why he doesnt just retire and go to school to get a degree or something. He is wasting his life away playing soccer it is just not for him. And yea can't wait for the 30 for 30 also.

NASL for him. The problem has always been consistency with Adu. He isn't a consistent player. Never has been. Also his lack of hard work comes from the U17 coaching staff doing anything to keep their "star" player happy. They allowed him to slack off in practices and Adu was rarely seen practicing on his own trying to get better. They did the same things with Altidore as well.

I agree he is pretty much done. Maybe if he can humble himself he may become a good youth coach.

Ah, Adu, being sent to the reserves of a team playing in the 35th best league in Europe. There are 3 gaurentees in this life. Death, Taxes, and Freddy Adu never playing another second for the USMNT. Can we just actually have a funeral for him? Or maybe put his jersey on a wooden ship, light the ship on fire, and send it out to sea.
